Really stoked you had an awesome day on Lanier brother. So cool to see you dial in the OG … the best part of this video is how much fun you were having. Great to see
My best lanier spot was 6lb even on a spro dog walking bait. Until you have experienced lake lanier spots on top water you don't know what your missing. Great video dude
Dude I feel that gut wrench of throwing a big bait off on Lanier. I was throttling the big spots and largemouth on the kgb legend one day. I had actually caught the bait off the bottom of a local spot on a 6xd which was crazy in itself. But I took it to Lanier pre fishing with it and crushed them on it until I broke it off on a cast. Now it’s on the bottom in 4 mile creek😂 I could’ve cried.
Me again Utube is great for showing how to create knots buts commend knowledge says it good, but I've just been trying double snap and remove the split ring and uni on everything else. Good job Mike, be safe on your travels travels. Peace brother
Dude I'm telling you Neely has some magnum spots. Put in at Coosa landing and go up river towards Weiss. These Coosa River spotted bass are a different animal 🤘🤘
@@mikeybalzz There's nothing like a 3.5lb to 4.5lb class spotted bass especially on the Coosa pound for pound some of strongest bass there is in my opinion
Looks like a beautiful lake and you gotta love being out of town Crystal calm and I don't see schooling bass in Mn and Lake Minnetonka my home lake. Thanks for the info on how and what lines. Being new to fishing after 17y and disabled I have lots of gear but it's for looking good. I don't know how to squat but fun relearning. Show knots to lures please. I've been tying basic uny twice through eyes and don't get get broken off but different ones for the other types would be great to know
It has been a long time since I have seen a video from you. When you used to travel from Florida up here to Gville. So did you move up this way or still travel? My boy would not be happy seeing you catching all those spots in his lake...lol
Yeah RUclips hasn't been the charitable I literally put up two videos for a week and they don't seem to show them to anybody lol. Yeah I live in Alabama but I spend a couple months of the year down in Florida was actually just in Gainesville a couple months ago
@@mikeybalzz yeah, I busted my left shoulder. It's been torn up since November. Was hoping that therapy would do the trick, but it's a long process. So when you mentioned that you used a Muskie bait to catch those spot. I gave my brother since he's up north a few southern baits to see if they will swallow them there. He's never volunteered his Muskie baits though...lol. You should try to do Gville when they have the Bass Cash Bass. You never know what you might catch.
I didnt know that my local lake held spots. I caught like a 3 pounder one day and had never seen a spot before...i thought it was an inbred largie lol. After all,i am in Appalachia lol
Throw me some of all the dozens of things your want buddies are having you try. Making SSDI stinks on are minimum income, goes to buying the best rod's and reels and trays when I get lucky and get for great sale. Sorry for bugging you so much today. TL ALWAYS
I want one of those clutch darters as well! It’s hard to beat a day like that, especially with all the topwater blowups!
dude you are HAMMERING them, can't wait to get a graph to check points and stuff! awesome vid man

Awesome video mickey too bad that was a weekday bite , way different on sat n sun , cast baits is da bomb tho
It seems bog likes the taste of Large Mouth Bass over the Spots 😅. He went crazy when you brought that big LM in.🎣

Don't tease me I think deep down inside I'm a spotted bass guy
Nothing wrong with that at all

Dude you lit 🔥 em up out there brother hell yeah
I'm sorry to hear you lost a $250 lure. You also made me lose $60, but for the best. I ordered an OG. I'll try it over here in North Texas.
😢😁🤙
$50 explains why....
Hammond's ROCKS!!! I spend at least an hour in there. The people there are great as well!
No doubt!
That's impressive, bud. Catching a couple of 3's on Lanier isn't that hard, but catching 20lbs is hard no matter who you are.
awesome content my dude
Awesome stuff!!
Dang another 48.00 lure oh we’ll wonder how long it will last 😂

Right that's becoming my signature move

@@Smalltechguy I was thinking about it actually
Crushed!
Hey man! What gopro mount is that on the side of your depth finder!?
Bro insane day of fishing sucks about the 250 though. That hurt
It did but I got to say it was almost worth it got absolutely ridiculous out there!
@mikeybalzz agreed almost worth it. I lived in buford GA. Yrs ago spent some time on that lake while I was there
Is that the 30g or the 40g OG?
EPIC" TRIP THANKS FOR SHARING " HOT TIPS" W/ TOADS!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it man it was fun

Top water is magical
Mikey can I use this with straight 30# 0r 50# braid?
50lb CAST X12 or 30lb of another brand
The CAST OG is the TRUTH! 🫡🫡🫡
My heart breaks for you…… I know exactly where my clutch swim bait is too and it’s not in the boat!!!!!!
I liked that OG lure, but I’m gonna have to wait to get one. It’s a bit pricey and the colors I wanted are on back order at TW.
That cast og is that a 20 or 30 would like to know
20g sir!
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Wait…..you paid $250 for 1 Lure? 🤦🏻♂️

Front hook in the mouth, tail hook in the side of the face. Its how 90% of all bass are hooked on the OG!
Bro you don’t have to weight every fish
Well aware, just wanted to see what kind of a bag I could put together
boat.....PAYMENT ????
A day in the water has a long price tag man when you start adding it up I think we're paying $100 a pound when it comes to these bass 😅
@mikeybalzz for sure man. Bassin ain't a cheap hobby.
why do you have to ruin every good technique
Love the og! been throwing it here on coosa it works really good!
