  • Earlier this year ahead of the Vendée Globe, Pip shared her nutrition plan as part of her race prep. In this video she talks through her favourite meals and go-to snacks, some of which she'll be using on board including Resilient Nutrition's long-range fuel.

    Thanks for sharing this. I'm watching this just after you rounded the horn and since your energy and strength seems TOP NOTCH ... who could argue with your plan ? :) (I do eat omnivore but heavy on the beans/nuts and also veg to eat less meat than I used do. I don't think that I could do that much fruit , but maybe like beans ... the more you include, the more your system adapts.) At any rate, I am always reviewing my own eating (I am 65 and MUST adjust) so in addition to how this works for you for the Vendee, I appreciate the perspective. I am a 2nd breakfast AND an Elevenses person ... not big on "dinner" GO PIP!!!

    Ahhh, Pip's healthy choices are proven on VendeeGlobe for both physical and mental well being. Curry spice is yummy, red Thai chillies have best flavor. And vegetarian with Fish is also my diet but finding sustainable, earth friendly and trustworthy sources is confusing. Eggs are a large portion but also with eggs the friendly question is in my mind often. I Agree to all of Pip's food choices!

    The camera keeps moving, as if you're on the boat. But this was recorded before you went on the race. Correct?

    Interesting to see for me as a Gluten Freebie - always a challenge to get meals right when out and about, far from home or on an adventure (and when not in lockdown) . . . Thanks

    Pip needs to see the videos from Giancarlo Pedote's on-board kitchen. Not sure they have the same nutritionist.

    Hi. I loved the content so much. I've been trying to research for a vid that educates the ideas in this RUclips vid! 👍Your breakdown is similar to the videos from Doctor Ethan! Ethan's explanations are totally insightful and he helped me a lot on my finals. He is the helpful health enthusiast in Nottingham and he talks about mental health and vitamins.
