Thank You!! My pocket book hollers at me every time I want to buy new stickles lol. They arent cheap. I have all this fine nail glitter I never used but didnt want to make a mess trying to dust it over glue onto a project. (We all know the glitter never leaves haha). This would work SO much better and much more cost efficient. Thank You!!
Thx so much. I too don't like the mess and hassle of trying to work with glitter that way. Even as a child I hated trying to apply glue then pour glitter then pour the glitter back in the container wasting half on the floor. LOL.
Only YOU can fathom how much money you saved me. Your tutorial has enlightened me to the point that I have more personal colors that I've created than I have of Stickles!!! IMAGINE THAT???
I HAD SO MUCH FUN MAKING MY STICKLES!!! AND I USED THOSE ADHESIVE CIRCLE PRICE TAGSPEOPLE USE FOR GARAGE SALES FOR MY NAMES. BEST THING I EVER CREATED. YIPEE
Perfect! I have a half gallon of clear glue leftover from my daughters slime making days. I had been planning to experiment with it since i also have plenty of glitter. Why reinvent the wheel, check RUclips first, and I found you. 😊 So glad that I can glitter everything up in so many colors and not feel guilty about spending crazy money!
You go gurllll ....Thank you so much ... i really like stickles i use the all time , but now i can use them for larger projects with the same colors .... your my .... ( Shero ) hero .... your my supper girl... you came and saved the day ..... lol and that's real talk . thank you sooo much sweetie God, bless you 😇😇😇😇
Kelly you are awesome I use a lot of the diamond stickles and with your help I was able to make my own using the clear Elmer’s glue and the extra fine glitter it came out great thank you so much for sharing God bless
FYI the nozzle of the stickles comes off if you use plyers. I had a blue that dried up and searched how to make my own and found this video. So don't throw out your old Stickles containers, they work great and pop right back into the bottle top. I find it hard to find Stickles in my Michaels store and not many colors so this is a great idea. Thanks so much.,
Your coppery color resembles Stickles color "Paprika." (At least while it's wet.) You're a woman after my own heart! I can spend hours messing with stuff like this. I have a bunch of repurposed "tools" to indulge all my quirky experiments. I wish I had discovered you long ago!
Love anything that glitters! 😂 😂! you know what pencil I thought of with your really light pink glitter you made! The new metallic color in Arteza pencils! Unicorn purple I think it's called. But I can see them 2 working so well together! I've got some really fine glitter from a craft store before it closed! One is like a coral! Oooo, I'm making me some glitter glue with it! Thank you for all the great ideas! 😊 😉 ❤!
@@DollarDiva99 I know right! 😂 😂! Now I'm wanting to do a whole coloring page in glitter, I'm going to have to go through my books! See what Christmas pictures I've got, and going to try it! Yep! Yep! Love ya! 😉 ❤!
Thank you! I’m doing a happy dance right now! I love glitter and always want to add it to my cards but often don’t, unless I have stickles, because I don’t want the recipient to have glitter coming off, and you know it always does. I have tons of beautiful glitter colors, but didn’t know which medium to mix them with to do this. I knew there had to be one. Now I know! 🎉 I can’t wait to go make a bunch of custom glitter glues!!!
Great minds think alike!! I literally did the same thing with my nail art glitter... and used the dollar tree glitter glue containers 😂 I've never seen anyone else on RUclips so that. Love ur channel!
Happy Friday to you dollar diva love, love your homemade sticklers I too have a set of the dollar tree glitter and I order a big larger set off of amazon with amazon glue but I see the Elmer's work best thank you so very much for sharing your video🌛☕️🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽😷
So excited. I bought some clear glue last night I want to make snow glue I am going to try and make it from my fakes snow that comes out at Christmas tonight
Will your mix, when in a proper bottle with a good cap, ever completely dry out in there? If it will, what additive do I use to thin it back out? Thank you kindly.
Yes. They are shown and linked in this video. Please use my affiliate links if possible thx ruclips.net/video/ZzR_tf6Aa2o/видео.html ruclips.net/video/CpE1Fxl0Z90/видео.html
I don't think stickles is glitter, I believe it is made with mica powders or eye shadows. Some are glittery/shimmery some are more pearls. This would work great on lots of projects though and bigger projects.
I bought a bunch of glitter (in a huge pack) with a half off coupon at Michaels...never shop without coupons or half off sales. Tuesday Morning has good prices, too.
I have used the pink and black ones. you can see it in the scarf and on the background on the Barbie picture at the end of this video. ruclips.net/video/lDRLn6762Uk/видео.html
@@DollarDiva99 you mean too many glitter particles for the glue? Do some glues allow you to have more glitter or do I want to get smaller glitter than extra fine? If I want it packed with glitter
You made glitter glue. Pearl drops and such aren’t just shiny drops. They self-smooth into a nice 3D ball on the surface. If allowed to thoroughly dry, they KEEP their dimensionality. Yes I agree that craft supplies cost too much. Same with all art supplies. But those companies have put a lot of research and chemistry knowledge into making a safe and reliable product. We pay for that performance. We expect that performance, and they perform correctly. When art supplies are not affordable, your are kind of stuck with inferior outcomes. It shows, to anyone knowledgeable about the media.

I may try this. My Dollar Tree "sticles" are severely lacking in glitter.

I always find it clogs the bottle so badly when I try to do the homemade stickles :(
