@@CowboyUp1371 for new players it keeps you separate via Mmr from all the sweats but also you can't actually loose your hunters until your rank 25 and above so you have a good buffer to go in and fight and learn and not have anything lost

Honestly tho it's a healthy game I never have long queue times at any time.
Most of them are balanced with the odd 6 star squad here and there

Even the pretty rough console port is healthy. No long waits, lobbies always full.

Hunt is the most anxiety-inducing game ever. Not Siege, not Fromsoft games, nothing holds a candle to how frickin intense this game is. But damn, that headshot squelch sound is SO good lol. Always keeps me coming back for more.
I love the game so much, if my squad is occupied this is what I play by myself.
You must not have played Escape from Tarkov if you think Hunt showdown is intense.
@@johnkuang123 EFT to me is way less intense simply because of the settings. Tarkov isnt horror. It's just pure adrenaline. Playing Hunt, especially in night time maps, with all the horrors around, screaming and creeping, is way more intense.
I really love hunt but I would argu that escape from tarkov is way more anxiety-inducing.
@@VikingsNeverDie I guess you haven't played enough? Sure hunt was pretty scary at first and you will think twice before heading into the boss pit, but after hundreds of hours, zombies are just annoying npcs that is harmless and the boss gets gangbanged by axe wielding hunters. I don't think there's anything in hunts that more scary than guns going off close by in EFT when it's dead silence. There's never that much surprise in hunt, you always see/hear enemy's triggering the environment and it even shows you that enemies are in the boss pit and near clues, while EFT just says "here's a character and a hatchet go play"
By far the most immersive, intense, and satisfying fps out right now. Every gunfight is something different.
U must have not played very much. It become repetitive just as fast as anything else. People camping with shotguns. Its not revolutionary

He’s new, hopefully he plays a lot more and learns. Healing items is the name of the game. Whenever you get hit you need to heal if possible to not be a one shot, you never re peak after being hit so the more healing you have the better, it never seems to be enough
Edit: just saw the clip you were talking about, had he healed he would not have been one shot to the uppercut. Though at that range he would need to heal to full HP, always heal back to full is prio in every fight

For me, despite all of the slight flaws, this is the best shooter on the market. My heart hasn't pumped so much since Arma 2: DayZ mod.
All I can say is Thanks Jack, for getting me into this game, only recently got it, and only 6 hours in, I've loved every bit of it. Possibly the best game all round and sheer heart pounding fun. Love the Hunt content.

I got this game about two weeks ago and have only put in 4 hours or so. It's so intense I find it hard to bring myself to play it with the little free time I have. But damn is it a great game, very rewarding to get a win.

When Tommy asked for Bongeh to come up and look at the cards I almost died. For years Bongeh thought the Queen was a higher card than the King!

@@beziik2357 just had a match where i spectated, 2 guys wait for literally 20 mins to banish with only one other guy in the match, he was in a bush nearby. They got the bounties as alligator man ran off to get a spare bounty from the other boss. Bush guy then waited again as the duo went up for the final bounty, and Mr alligator killed both of them from the bushes. So Mr alligator probably spent 30 mins just waiting and got rewarded for it. Madness.
Coming back from work, seeing a new jackfrag's video out, making a coffee and hoping the video is long enough. Bless the universe for having such a lovely weird mate ❤
Hunt showdown has been my favorite game for 2 years now. Every match feels fresh. Especially satisfying when you can power through chance disadvantages, or carry your team to victory/extract.
No other game gives me actual adrenaline rushes like Hunt does!
I ADORE THIS GAME. the combat and even the synergy you can have with randoms is amazing.

It's an incredible game with amazing graphics and sound, the only game that's made me physically shake with fear more than the original PSX doom. I'm still in the early days of playing but love the learning curve, I won my first soul survivor tonight and I'm :-) Thank you for sharing this video !!

Love hunt footage as always. Comments on the game: I really wish they would Nerf explosives. Every round I play people are spamming explosives. So frustrating. This is a shooter. But I still maintain. It’s about one of the best shooter experiences still in existence. If only for sheer novelty. But that epic piano music at 12:00. Love this game.

Been playing Hunt since BETA on console. I absolutely love this game but the Devs lack of attention to bugs that need fixing can be infuriating.
Although none of them are really gamebreaking at the moment they can pop up at the worst time and get you killed.
Besides that I still recommend the game to anyone whose tired or the mainstream BR influx in multiplayer. Hunt is truly a unique experience.

FYI Jack you’re using the shotgun at way to far of range, use slugs if you want to do any damage at that range

I have a love/hate relation with this game. I've been playing it for many years and when Crytek is finnaly able to get rid of the bugs and stupid stuff, this game is awsome and a unique of its kind!
And seriously how many hits does this guy from 07:42 need to get it? 2 rival shots and 2 caldwell pistol upclose and that's what it takes for him to die?
Also some advice Jack: if an enemy player is charging a nade - either rush him and kill him/her - or get out of there and heal up straight away! Because you went in the fight with low hp and could've easily won that if you had full hp ;-).
Well I just hope I meet these guys in a Vegas poker game... LOL love the video Jack
