A tip from me if you don`t mind . When demonstrating the camera features on the rear screen , have an something in front of the lens, not just a blank wall. This will show the features much better.

In short yes an improvement - but I pic the Panasonic GM5 any day - I do have the GM1 and love it - but would of course like to see IBIS in the GM5 and GM1 - hopefully the GM6 will have IBIS - I prefer EVF's on the side on in center - I think the RX100m3 and Canon G7X offer a better value especially the Canon G7X with the 24-100mm F1.8-2.8 focal length and fast lens and with Touch LCD - maybe Canon will add EVF for next model - So with the focal length of the G7X or the EVF of the RX100 and same sensor and less price and smaller - but of course for IQ the GM5 with all the M43 lenses offers biggest options I hope Panasonic joins the 1 inch compact group with Canon and Sony - A similar body as of the GM5 with focal range of 24-100 f1.8-2.8 - EVF Tilt LCD and Touch -
