I would say probably not lol I wouldn’t want to be the one to test it on that. I mean it may it has some impressive drag and retrieve but idk how it would hold up to that. For the 25 inch snowy we caught it worked great with no issues. That’s the best we’ve done so far
The portable battery? We’ve used it before kite fishing and it lasted us the full day. Keep in mind that kite goes in and out a lot less times than deep dropping for the tiles or whatever you use your tanacom for. Also deeper water too and fighting a fish on the way up. If it’s possible I would just hardwire to the boat with a plug and can always get multiple plugs. Food for thought! The freedom of a battery and your choice of rod holder is nice as well
What do you do if the battery dies or the power gets disconnected while you are fishing and your sinker is on the bottom of the ocean ? When you plug it back in, or replace the battery. the display resets back to 0.0 and moving the lever won't bring it back up. There has to be an option of power winding your sinker back up rather than having to manually wind it up by hand.
Tbh I think I’d just have to reel it up by hand, I haven’t experienced that issue yet and will have to see when it happens if it does! Otherwise reel up by hand
Thanks bro. Do you think this would handle tuna? We’ve got bluefin that run as much as 250#

Thanks!@@SeaShift
Just bought mine today, can't wait to get it on some swords and some tile fish
No experience with swords however caught a 30 inch tile this year and it handled beautifully!
It’s a great reel and so much quieter than the other one!
Extremely!!
How long do you think the battery would last if you’re trying to fish all day?
