My way of cost cutting 1. Use public transport. If I got to office in bike it will take only 30 minutes. But requires one liter petrol that is it will cost ₹75 - ₹80/day. If I use public transport it cost ₹40/day. (almost half) 2. Eat from local shops. we all will be hungry on the way home. So if i ate a burger or any other so called foot it will cost me at least ₹100. Instead I ate from pani poori shop, or 'Thattukada'(Kerala name for street food shop) so it will cost ₹20 or ₹40. ( I know it's tiny amount of money. But tiny drops can create a pool) 3. No festival shopping. I never buy cloths because it's a festival season. I buy cloths when it is required. Also no 'function' shopping. What ever cloth you have bought for a particular function usually cannot be used in another function(Every photo will look the same). So it's a one time usable purchase and it's a dead money. 4. Proper monthly expense tallying since 2013 I am maintaining my income and expense record and at the end of the month i do tally it. I am using spreadsheet for that. I made the table for myself according to my requirements. I my mobile I am using the app 'Expense manager' to enter all the Income & Expenses at the time it happens. later i ll enter it into the spreadsheet in my PC. This will solve a lot of problems. 5. Don't hesitate to ask(This is strictly personal) If you lent money or spend money for a common purpose, ask the other person to pay back asap. Because of my monthly account tallying, I know that i have spend some money for this person and I need it back to tally my account. This will affect other people's opinion about you. So it's up to you. 6. 100 days rule. Before buying anything ask yourself two questions (1) Do i need this for the next 100 days? if not, don't buy it. (2) Do I have a similar item that can serve this purpose ? if yes, Don't buy it. Thank you for reading.

We are doing RD savings in post office, i have to change it to MF investment..

How I did my saving- I came here in Noida in 2010 for a job and now finally have my own flat here. I used to live in a small room paying 2000 per month as rent, because in case I am living there in a society , and paying more for a rented flat is not going to make that my own flat. I saved money and now I have my own flat. I prefer doing window shopping to get needed stuff in reasonable price,Have invested in MIS, TD(post office scheme savings) , other policies, Mutual funds etc for better future. Didn't buy a vehicle yet and prefer to travel using carpool for now as I didn't have parking earlier due to that small rented room , but now I have it so hopefully would have my own car by next year.I love your videos, Cheers....
Can you please do an in-depth analysis of mutual funds & how to select them. Also effective planning for retirement for a 20, 30, 40, 50 year old. It's a maze out there?
From my childhood I am saving money which were given by relatives when leaving us . Now I have more than 20,000 rupees from that only . I think I have learned saving a little bit..
so what?? when i were in colz and living in hostel, i used to get 4k per month as an additional money to meet my other needs apart from living or fooding as these were already covered in hostel fee. I never calculated how much to save or how much to invest? that no one thinks during that stage of life. But one thing that i did, was to avoid useless spending to please peers resulting after completing 4 yrs of colz life and coming back to home, I saved and gave 44k to my father saying that it's your left over money. My father got surprised and asked me to have it in your bank account coz it was you who saved it not him so it's all mine. and that was the first time I learnt the biggest and first lesson of these small small investment. now it's been 6 years of working to me and i have evolved a lot of my saving and investment knowledge and moving towards the financial freedom. Just remember one thing, The money speaks only one language and that is , if you save money today, it will save you tomorrow.
But iam sure we will have a better future than the students who waist their time social media for temporary happiness or distraction from stress rather than investing in longterm goals and a better future 😇

Motivational! As i was watching this video, i canceled my Netflix membership which was costing 1200 per month and was useless to me as i am always busy and don't use it often. You're a good speaker. Now I decided to create a financial discipline in my life.

hey sis.... these are the same points which I am following for past so many years!!!! especially Cooking at home, bonus tip, invest in yourself tip... all r exactly matching!!!!
1. Auto wala cost 15rs from my home to railway station Instead of auto i walk 10 minutes & reach station I saved 15rs daily Walking make exercise 2. Take water bottle while leaving home So that you don't invest 10-20rs for water bottles
I am 20, I started saving money at the age of 15 and here I am still a student but with 30000 rs. savings! Trust me I didn't steal and didn't got any pocket money or if I got some pocket money that was rs. 100 in every 3 months! But I never wasted the money on anything and of course money from relatives was the most! So yaaaaa it is possible to save money! ❤❤❤
Too good !!!! One more method that my dad inculcated in me is to ask "Do I really need this thing ?" before buying any product ! That always give me a wiser vibe on expenditures ! 😉
Indeed! Jobless civil, mechanical, electrical engineers need that a lot to atleast get a job that'll help them to survive and save their face in front of those "samaaj ke thekedaar"

Thank you for this video, I know it's hard to do these things because of many distructions especially food!!!!!!!! But hell yeah from this month til dec 2019, I'll make this as a goal! Thank you 😘
I used to spend lot of money on shopping and eating outsider foods with my friends however i didn’t have any idea of savings but now before every spendings i think wisely and rationally as a result i can save lot of money in every month, its a good initiative by you i really appreciate ur work. Best of luck!
After seeing this video I started saving money on the 1st day of salary itself and it has really helped me !! Way to buy my own dream home in coimbatore 😀 I have two accounts , one for salary and the other for savings which I have linked to ppf , mutual fund and recurring deposit. And the money in savings I barely touch as I don't have debit card attached to it !
ways I use to save money- 1)public transport (trains preferred over expensive travels for intercity travel) 2) part of salary is transferred to father's account or any other account from which its not easy to take out (if it remain in my account, then i spend )
Being a student, i save my money just by not going out too much without any necessary requirements..coz once i step out of the house i will spend on something which is not needed or I'll eat something which is definitely not at all healthy..so the better optn is to stay in my room and do something productive (study, seeing English movies to improve my vocab and speaking,or just sleep😁) It actually saves me ₹50-₹100 a day.
This is right way to save money.I never save money for my future, for some reason the money will spend every month. And i trying to less my expenses. So thank you for provide your trips.
Hey loved this video...... can u pls make a video on how to save money for students living in hostels and also who have to keep up with super rich kids
Thanks for the tips. We are all adults and behave like children when it comes to money. This video opened my eyes. This is 6th grade math. What was i doing all these years.
I'm farmer and 30 ....as i get the main income from agriculture which generates yearly income ....I have started to plant long time income trees like sandalwood etc know I'm thinking to invest in business next year so that i can get regular monthly income with that money i will invest in ppf, mutual funds etc ....great inspiration ty
Stop using debit and credit card while shopping. Please try to transact through money so that you can track your money transfer. If any emergency used your card, instead of shopping shorts by paying 500 or 600 ( boys & girls) convert your jeans or trousers as shorts. Enjoy each and everything moments happily with limit money.
I just couldn't resist myself from pausing the video in between of 2:48 and thank you. The very first point that you mentioned ma'am that is the only beast that doesn't let me save. For almost more than last 6 months I'm spending money just like anything behind shopping and food. Actually I'm going through an emotional breakdown that's even mentally disturbing me so the best way I find to escape these traumatic feelings is just go on shopping. But the worst part is that I'm spending all my money that is for educational purposes. I do have a realisation that what I'm doing is absolutely not correct but I just can't stop myself from doing this shit. Not only going to shopping physically but online shopping sites like flipkart and myntra is also breaking my account. Ma'am is just deleting these shopping apps enough to save money or I should do something more??
Yeah sure, uninstalling these apps really helps, I am telling from my own experience. The constant notifications from these apps not only lead us to impulsive shopping but also to waste of time!
I'm so glad you let it all out, Nazia. Yes, uninstalling can be a start. The next step is to invest in yourself like mentioned in point number 5. Good luck, girl. I'm rooting for you! :)
I have been in same situation where I was impulsive to check out online shopping sites for hours. Uninstall from mobile and unsubscribe mail list. In worst case, go buy some flower or plant saplings from nursery when you feel impulsive.
I am a foodie. What I used to do is have junk foods outside. Recently I started something to save money, i hope it helps others. Whenever I feel like having junk food take that money and keep it inside piggy bank where its difficult to break. Then hv some vegetables with salt pepper. This habit has not only saved my money but hv helped not to buy the extra calories and it's healthy
I personally have understood that when you start a healthy lifestyle you automatically save money... Sodas are gone,, water is on Junk is all gone Chocolates and everything that costed 100 to 300 are gone Find products that are natural homemade etc and everything I save I spend on things I actually need for example a new mixy some clothes and stuff
You are the sweetest and Inspiring person i have ever met on Social network. Thanks to #RUclips ☺❤ Wanna more tips for future Savings , investments and Safe life. Would be very much concerned about my future as a buy a house and all. Because as a growing girl it will be a big concerned for parents lol 😂 Hope you can understand nd fir my partner too. Thank you so much till now. 👍👍 Lots of live and keep making such kindda videos 👍👏
Some more tips from my side : 1. At the end of the day, we do have coins left in our purse or pocket. Save that Coins daily. Empty the coins from your purse daily. 2. At the last day of the month. Just before the day, salary is gonna hit your account, Empty your bank account or salary account. I mean save the money whatever that is left just before the new salary gonna arrive. 3. Most will say don't use credit card, However using credit card will give you points and that points can become huge later and will certainly help you.

My way of cost cutting
1. Use public transport.
If I got to office in bike it will take only 30 minutes. But requires one liter petrol that is it will cost ₹75 - ₹80/day. If I use public transport it cost ₹40/day. (almost half)

( I know it's tiny amount of money. But tiny drops can create a pool)
4. Proper monthly expense tallying

I my mobile I am using the app 'Expense manager' to enter all the Income & Expenses at the time it happens. later i ll enter it into the spreadsheet in my PC. This will solve a lot of problems.

6. 100 days rule.
Before buying anything ask yourself two questions
(1) Do i need this for the next 100 days? if not, don't buy it.
(2) Do I have a similar item that can serve this purpose ? if yes, Don't buy it.

This really helps.. I am starting these things right now.
Motivational! As i was watching this video, i canceled my Netflix membership which was costing 1200 per month and was useless to me as i am always busy and don't use it often. You're a good speaker. Now I decided to create a financial discipline in my life.

You are so awesome.. I love the way you speak... Hats off dear. I was looking for such a video.. I am happy to find your channel.. 😊 👌
Hi.... accidentally i swa this video....I loved the way you talk ....and your tips are great..
1. Auto wala cost 15rs from my home to railway station
Instead of auto i walk 10 minutes & reach station
I saved 15rs daily
Walking make exercise
2. Take water bottle while leaving home
So that you don't invest 10-20rs for water bottles
I am 20, I started saving money at the age of 15 and here I am still a student but with 30000 rs. savings! Trust me I didn't steal and didn't got any pocket money or if I got some pocket money that was rs. 100 in every 3 months! But I never wasted the money on anything and of course money from relatives was the most! So yaaaaa it is possible to save money! ❤❤❤

Your smile's straight from your heart.
ways I use to save money-
1)public transport (trains preferred over expensive travels for intercity travel)
2) part of salary is transferred to father's account or any other account from which its not easy to take out (if it remain in my account, then i spend )
This is first time seeing ur video and now I am obsessed with ur videos......srly...... I am literally loving your videos..........

Can u make a vedio about work from home for students
There are only small number of *Channels* who make such *Quality Content* and *You* are *One* of *Them*
Being a student, i save my money just by not going out too much without any necessary requirements..coz once i step out of the house i will spend on something which is not needed or I'll eat something which is definitely not at all healthy..so the better optn is to stay in my room and do something productive (study, seeing English movies to improve my vocab and speaking,or just sleep😁)
It actually saves me ₹50-₹100 a day.
Please make a video about finding your passion, thank so much for the video.

Best suggestions you are the best productive
And I am the who 700th like your video hahahah
Thanks for being here. :)
@@TheUrbanFight Thanks a lot ma'am🙏
@@KuheliGhosh Thanks a lot dear

I am a foodie. What I used to do is have junk foods outside. Recently I started something to save money, i hope it helps others. Whenever I feel like having junk food take that money and keep it inside piggy bank where its difficult to break. Then hv some vegetables with salt pepper. This habit has not only saved my money but hv helped not to buy the extra calories and it's healthy
I personally have understood that when you start a healthy lifestyle you automatically save money...
Sodas are gone,, water is on
Junk is all gone
Chocolates and everything that costed 100 to 300 are gone
Find products that are natural homemade etc and everything I save I spend on things I actually need for example a new mixy some clothes and stuff
You go girl!
Luckly I don't spend on all these. Thank god. 😄
Yes pls let us know how to find one’s passion
You are the sweetest and Inspiring person i have ever met on Social network. Thanks to #RUclips ☺❤
Wanna more tips for future Savings , investments and Safe life.
Would be very much concerned about my future as a buy a house and all.
Because as a growing girl it will be a big concerned for parents lol 😂 Hope you can understand nd fir my partner too.
Thank you so much till now. 👍👍 Lots of live and keep making such kindda videos 👍👏
That made my day, Meenakshi. :)
Some more tips from my side :
M watching u almost 2 years after n u r same enthusiastic ❤️luv u keep growing 🥰😘
