    HI, thank you for this! We have the PLA-SM.EA indoor unit and the MAC-567IF-E WiFi module. Unfortunately I don't see a CN105. We do have a CN41 connector that would physically fit and is labelled 'HA TERMINAL-A'. Might this be compatible? Thanks!

      hi, the CN105 connector is at Mitsubishi Electric indoor unit. your model is Mitsubishi heavy indoor unit(It's a different company with different air conditioners)

    Great info. I am searching for the CN105 on my SEZ-KD50VAQ, but I am not able to find it in the manuals (probably because it is an older model). After connecting the wireless interface, the wired controller (PAR-21MAA) will also be active - did I get it right?

      Wifi is 587.
      Someone said that i need to update firmware of ERV

      hi Andrey. you can send me an email with the picture of your Lossnay model and i will ask the manufacturer if it can be connected via the MAC-587IF-E.
      i.e. it can take few days to reacive an answer form them.

      MAC-557IF-E (As of 2014)
      MAC-567IF-E (As of 2017)

      In my opinion it can be connected. Although I didn't find the MSZ-CGE SERVICE MANUAL it can be connect for the following reasoons: 1. the MAC-587 is offial suitable with the MSZ-GE series, i looked at the parts list and it is looks similar to the GE seires. 2. it is exists at the Compatibility List of KNX.
      in order to reach the CN105 of the GE25-50(And I suppose also of the CGE) The front panel needs to be removed, open the cover of the Indoor electronic control P.C. board and you will see the CN105 red connector in front of you.

      @@todayhvac thanks for your kind&fast reply. I've already opened the CGE chassis and found the CN105 red connector (5 pins). And that's a good new. I'm just concerned about the right model, the actual MAC-587IF-E or maybe the previous MAC-567IF-E? I've found a compatiblity list with CGE and MAC-567. I hope even MAC-587 will do the job. Tomorrow I will testing a brand new MAC-587. In case of fail I will change my mind, return back the 587 and pick up the old 567.

      I was happy to help, the difference between the 567 and 587 is minor (visibility and country of manufacture). All indoor units that work with the 567 should also work with the 587 in my opinion, good luck to you

    Hi, what is main difference between MAC-567IF-E or MAC-587IF-E, and wich of them can I buy for my Mitsubishi MLZ-KP35vf

      The differences between them are minor. The MAC-587IF-E is a newer model But their function is the same. The height and width of the 587 are smaller by a few millimeters, their visibility is a little different And their country of manufacture is different . both of them will fit to the MLZ-KP35VF, The 567 may no longer be available because its production may have been discontinued

      hi, the correct name of the Wi-Fi INTERFACE is mac-587if-e
      And I don't know about the other model(the suffix "e" means: For europe).
      i.e. It could be that the person who wrote mac-587if forgot to write the letter "e" at the end.
      Could you please share with us the link you saw on the internet?

    Hi, I have a pead-sm71ja2 interior unit. Looking to the unit instructions, it says to connect remote Wi-Fi controller to a connector CN90, with 9 pins.. I understand then the controller MAC-5871IF is not compatible right? Any possible connection? Or What is the compatible wifi controller I should buy? Thanks

      Hi, the PEAD-SM71JA2 has a CN105 connector(red). as far as i know-the MAC-587IF-E is compatible with this indoor unit(i.e. please see the attached wiring diagram and the Indoor controller board). the CN90 is for Signal Receiving Unit PAR-SA9CA-E. drive.google.com/file/d/1cC5-ZE27RiZQpb6_nEBIzCu-4UNRKaVZ/view?usp=sharing

    Hello I have MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC MAC-567IF-E Wi-Fi Card with a connector with only 4 wire and need to connect it on a 5 wire cnn
    I would need MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC MAC-587IF-E Wi-Fi but some people told me we can only buy the small red stuff connector with 5 wire and only put 4 wire in it but I do not know where to buy it and what is exactly the reference or name of this stuff.
    Any idea please?

      hi, i am encountering this 4 wire issue for the first time from you question. can you please:
      A. send we a picture of your 4 wire mac-567if-e (as meny pictures as you can)? Did it come like this in the original box?
      B. tell me what is exactly the model name of the indoor unit(that you want to connect it to the MAC-567if-E).
      C.Your country of origin.
      D. the MAC-567 and 587 are almost identical(they have minor dimensions changs and a different country of manufacture, however their functionality are the same)

    amazing video. I did encounter an issue. i have over 40 interfaces mac-567. now ive installed a new machine with the 587 and these cant connec to the melcloud server. its strange that its only the 587 and 577. did anyone had this issue as well? Kind Regards

      if you can't get to the "wireless configuration screen" -> In my opinion, the software may have been updated or upgraded over the network , so it is necessary to type in the browser 192.168.11.1/network If you have seen another phenomenon, feel free to share it and we will try to help

      @@todayhvac Thank you for the reply. It connects to my wifi and its respoding. The error states that it cant connec to the melcloud Server. Its strange because its only these MAC models that does this .

      Honestly, we haven't heard about it recently. We sometimes encounter a software update after installation (we once encountered that the error light flashed and it was resolved after a few days)

    My wifi unit suddenly lost connection yesterday after trouble free operation for over 2 years. No matter how many methods I try it just will not reconnect to my wifi. Is it possible for it to simply break and require replacement?

      if the NET the UNIT and the ERR are blinking mean that: Connection to MELCloud failed, and
      Connection to indoor unit established. Since you tell me you've tried everything and nothing works-Try talking to your installer who will contact the company

      You did everything right, it's not a problem for you, there is probably a problem with Melcloud's servers

    Should i disconect the mitsubishi wifi and then conect to 198.11...?

      Unfortunately, I don't have a good answer to give you except that:
      1. The action you performed is correct, you did nothing wrong. I don't know what caused this problem
      3. Please contact your supplier, he should give you answers and a solution
      4. If I know of a solution, I will update you

    The connectors on the 567 and 587 units are different I think : the 567 has a bigger connector, while the 587 has a smaller one. My CN105 port is quite large (about 1 cm long), so I don;t think the small 587 unit will plug in there ?

      The connector that connecet to the CN105
      is exactly the same for both MAC-567 a MAC-587

      @@todayhvac I doubt that : on the 577 the connector is much smaller than on the 567. I have 2 units : one has a 567, other has 577. The devices look the same, but connectors are different.

      the connectors of the 567 & 587 are exactly the same. unfortunatly i don't know the 577, however-if it is connect to the CN105 then it must feet. you can send me the pictures to itay.ran@econ-tec.com if you want me to look at it.
