In my opinion it can be connected. Although I didn't find the MSZ-CGE SERVICE MANUAL it can be connect for the following reasoons: 1. the MAC-587 is offial suitable with the MSZ-GE series, i looked at the parts list and it is looks similar to the GE seires. 2. it is exists at the Compatibility List of KNX. in order to reach the CN105 of the GE25-50(And I suppose also of the CGE) The front panel needs to be removed, open the cover of the Indoor electronic control P.C. board and you will see the CN105 red connector in front of you.
@@todayhvac thanks for your kind&fast reply. I've already opened the CGE chassis and found the CN105 red connector (5 pins). And that's a good new. I'm just concerned about the right model, the actual MAC-587IF-E or maybe the previous MAC-567IF-E? I've found a compatiblity list with CGE and MAC-567. I hope even MAC-587 will do the job. Tomorrow I will testing a brand new MAC-587. In case of fail I will change my mind, return back the 587 and pick up the old 567.
I was happy to help, the difference between the 567 and 587 is minor (visibility and country of manufacture). All indoor units that work with the 567 should also work with the 587 in my opinion, good luck to you

The differences between them are minor. The MAC-587IF-E is a newer model But their function is the same. The height and width of the 587 are smaller by a few millimeters, their visibility is a little different And their country of manufacture is different . both of them will fit to the MLZ-KP35VF, The 567 may no longer be available because its production may have been discontinued

amazing video. I did encounter an issue. i have over 40 interfaces mac-567. now ive installed a new machine with the 587 and these cant connec to the melcloud server. its strange that its only the 587 and 577. did anyone had this issue as well? Kind Regards
if you can't get to the "wireless configuration screen" -> In my opinion, the software may have been updated or upgraded over the network , so it is necessary to type in the browser 192.168.11.1/network If you have seen another phenomenon, feel free to share it and we will try to help

Honestly, we haven't heard about it recently. We sometimes encounter a software update after installation (we once encountered that the error light flashed and it was resolved after a few days)
My wifi unit suddenly lost connection yesterday after trouble free operation for over 2 years. No matter how many methods I try it just will not reconnect to my wifi. Is it possible for it to simply break and require replacement?

if the NET the UNIT and the ERR are blinking mean that: Connection to MELCloud failed, and Connection to indoor unit established. Since you tell me you've tried everything and nothing works-Try talking to your installer who will contact the company

The connectors on the 567 and 587 units are different I think : the 567 has a bigger connector, while the 587 has a smaller one. My CN105 port is quite large (about 1 cm long), so I don;t think the small 587 unit will plug in there ?

There might be something with the servers, try contacting the distributor.

You did everything right, it's not a problem for you, there is probably a problem with Melcloud's servers
