What you set at startup is what will remain. If you set auto - it will remain auto (in the timer you usually only set on/off and at what time, sometimes there is also a condition - all the settings remain as they were...)

Hi, Sorry for my late response: As for your first question: According to the manufacturer there is a function No. 25 (MODE 25) - "Fan speed during the heating thermostat is OFF". you can try MODE 25 setting 2 (setting 2 meaning is-fan speed STOP during thermostat is OFF during heating [It works on PEAD-RP units, I hope it will work on your PEAD-SP unit as well]). @@todayhvac Thank you. I actually tried looking for both Mode 25 (Heat) and Mode 27 (Cool), as I wanted to set both to "Off". However, those modes are not available on the PEAD-SP and I can't find if there are different mode numbers for the unit. I guess I will keep trying. Thank you again for your response.

That was half azz. If u take it apart to that degree, clean front back the whole thing with a fine tooth!

hi, i hope i"m understand your question: There are switches on the back of the top case, SW No. 4 is about the Indoor temperature display on the Remote controller. Set it to OFF (OFF means that you don't want to display the indoor temperature on the remote controller)

@@todayhvac I can't remember now. So many different patterns but always involving the Orange (ERR) LED. Been trying all day and frankly so tired and frustrated now that I've given up.

if the NET the UNIT and the ERR are blinking mean that: Connection to MELCloud failed, and Connection to indoor unit established. Since you tell me you've tried everything and nothing works-Try talking to your installer who will contact the company

You did everything right, it's not a problem for you, there is probably a problem with Melcloud's servers

This is usually can be due to a communication problem. it can be when the indoor unit is not recognize by the outdoor unit, if you are a Certified technician you can try to solve this by RESET the outdoor unit(Disconnect the voltage to the outdoor unit and turn it on again)

Check that there is 30VDC at the indoor unit TB5 (M1,M2,S) between M1 and M2

you can set the thermostat to auto by Pressing the MODE button located at the at the bottom left(with the six icons on it). will change the operation mode in the following order: COOL->DRYING->FAN->AUTO->HEAT->VENTI. Note: Not all functions are available on all models of indoor units. Functions that are not available will not appear on the display.

hi. sorry for my late response. i thing that the reason for the phenomenon you described is beacuse you have VRF system(P_FY indooe unit). for most of the VRF system, in order to READ the temperature from the remote controller you need to make it by indoor unit Dip switch SW1-1=ON. may i ask what is the model of the indoor unit?

Model number is PVFY-P12NAMU-E. I tried the dip switch one however it’s made the thermostat a “sub” instead of main. Thank you so much for your help

Hi, i hope i understand you correctly-please try to type 192.168.11.1/network. (today you can't get access to the wi-fi configuration screen if you type 198.11....., please open the movie Description )

basically their are two ways: 1. you can connect one remote controller to all of your 6 indoor units-in that case it will operate them as a group(The controller will give the same setting to all of the indoor units, the maximum allowable indoor units that you can operate as a group are 16). 2. you can connect one remote controller for one indoor unit And each unit will operate according to the definition of its specific controller. if you want, you can email me a diagram to itay@todayhvac.com of what you want to do with the exact name of the indoor and outdoor units and I will give you an opinion
