@@spicedch4i I know but now it is supposed to be kid friendly. It’s pg. They are doing an interview for a pg movie and pushing queer as their focus. Kids are already confused about what they want to do and their future. They shouldn’t be dating at 7 and “trying out” kissing every person you see. It’s not a kiss that counts, it’s whether or not you really love them. Before you say that isn’t happening it really is, people in schools now are dating so young and wanting to change themseleves before they even know who they are.
@Lucia4_ this interviewer is from a publication called Gay Times, so of course thats going to be the topic of the video. Plus Cynthia Erivo is gay and Ariana Grande has said she's unlabeled, so of course they're going to talk about queerness. No one is forcing anyone to watch this gay Wicked interview clip and it definitely isn't making kids gayer. When I was 10 kids in my school were "dating" each other (which for kids is basically just holding hands, maybe kissing, just hanging out) when I was 10, in a straight way. Lots of straight people in my sisters middle school are also dating now, kids will always be kids, and if they do it in a less heterosexual way there's nothing worse about that- the majority of kids arent not doing anything inappropriate when they "date", queer or otherwise.
@ I understand this, not trying to hate ofc! Most kids where I live and other big places have a lot of kids dating at like 6 or younger and imagining what it would be like to be the opposite gender (which everyone wonders) however now they get told they can be and it’s damaging to their self growth to accept who you are as a person and love yourself. This is a pg movie and a lot of kids are on yt or pre-teens. Nothing wrong with being gay imo I think kids shouldn’t have to think about those stuff or consume it on a daily basis. Swearing and a lot about sexuality was in this video which people often praise and for a kid they might want to try it or change themselves to fit in. Just my perspective on it but it does happen a lot when media and trends get involved.
Train wreck!!!! This is all wrong and may possibly hurt people. This portrays homosexual as "the thing" , "hip", "cool"; treats it like a vintage starter pullover. Makes it feel like something you can just wear and take it off when you are done. I find it disgusting when people pretend to be "down". DAB: "Queer is the best thing ever!!!! Everything is gay!!!! I don't do what I am telling you is the best thing ever; nevermind that, go be cool!!! What happens when a young impressionable child (this is targeted to children) decides to change clothes as they mature? What happens to the person they built a relationship with? Are we ok with this? Everyone gets hurt; the straight person pretending to be gay for clout gets a scrape on the knee.... The truly gay partner gets their world turned upside down and their head kicked in. The rates of "you know what" are higher amongst children unsure about their sexuality because of bs like this...... Kids should focus on soccer, biking, theater, whatever..... This nonsense is elementary, fake and scripted.... Any gay people out there getting sick of this? I am not gay myself; wife kids, the whole 9 yards.... Was the best man 5 times, 2 gay..... Surrogate to my two friends; would have been the best man if they married (they split, both have boyfriends now). My daughter with them is 14 now; I was around all the time, it's weird now she will be pissed at me that I didn't tell her sooner or be happy; mom said no.... Anyway, I speak for myself; this is disgusting.... My gay friends (actually gay) hate the spotlight and never ever defined themselves by their sexuality..... If you go out of your way to let people know you are gay, you have other problems....... Fix those problems before you start new ones....
Also about gays, I think anything about kissing shouldn't be on the air then, because there are several kisses in cartoons, but it becomes a problem when it's of the same gender even if there are straight ones be worse sometimes, But what you said is very understandable. I understand your point of view because I myself am a child, I avoid any relationship with anyone as much as possible and I intend not to date until I am over 20+ So I don't lose my youth and avoid relationships that will destroy me. And I know a LOT of people who date. Straight and gay, and I always thought it was a bit wrong to date young, but I'm not going to be the one to complain about it in front of them. Well, unfortunately, almost no one plays much nowadays. You ask others but they will always say "later, we play."
1. Queer back then meant odd. So ‘dorothy and her odd little friends’ 2. This is a pg film and swearing and promoting gay or any sexuality related topics shouldn’t happen. 3. These actors obviously have fallen into the ‘I have to promote it otherwise I’ll get cancelled’ trap. You can convince yourself all this stuff is good but kids shouldn’t be dating so young or trying those areas out. 4. I think assuming a certain outfit or thing is gay, is so backwards. Gay now means to like the same sex. So many people put on a silly voice and funny outfits fron their actual voice anf style to show that they are gay. I find it so crazy. 5. About the trans stuff, our brains are wired to look at a person and put them under girl or boy then it looks at their appearance and if they are a threat or not. Getting pressed over a ‘misgender’ even though it is your correct gender people get so upset and offended. There are worse things happening, bullies, murder, traumatic childhood etc.
Bro what, sexuality isn't a inappropriate topic at all. If you view it as one you are a perv who view queer people as sexual. Also these actors have been pro queer. Also just because there is worst things doesn't mean you can't be upset at something, if I throw a rock at you, should you suck it up because I didn't murder you?? Your logic is so bigoted and full of holes.
Plz do not make wicked gay man. Both Glinda and Elphaba most important love and message was their friendship not gender plz let not mess that up for this masterpiece of a movie
its actually sexuality they are talking about and the song "what is this feeling" clearly touches the fact they feel an attraction and hate at the same time.
lol they love each other in the book and kiss multiple times and the author confirmed it's meant to be that way it's okay to have multiple interpretations
@tjingtjongbil7694 Oh no whatever will they do.. you won't watch it just because they're talking about Queer stuff... if that bothers you, you might as well stop being a fan of the wicked franchise all together... the author of the book was gay.. the more you know
Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. Romans 1:28 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, Acts 3:19

I think their new slogan should be "go woke, go broke...sometimes" They called barbie woke yet that movie made all that money.
"woke!" then it's just a group of people who existed for generations and were oppressed for generations.
Yep not gonna watch this
Oh poor you lmao
@@maggiemccauslin1084 poor you with that face and mindset.
Let’s see your face.
Did Ariana Grande pull a Michael Jackson with her coloring?
she stopped getting tans and botox
Bro what is this isn't abt.. They weren't pretending to be anything they are talking about the CHARACTERS who kissed in the books TWICE
So ‘dorothy and her odd little friends’
She looks completely stoned but I think it’s just bc she’s trying too hard to method act
Plz do not make wicked gay man. Both Glinda and Elphaba most important love and message was their friendship not gender plz let not mess that up for this masterpiece of a movie
Wicked has ALWAYS been gay, babe! Circa 2003 🏳️🌈
@ lol it really hasn’t but love is love
its actually sexuality they are talking about and the song "what is this feeling" clearly touches the fact they feel an attraction and hate at the same time.
@ Lmaoo it really doesn’t that’s what you guys want to perceive it as
lol they love each other in the book and kiss multiple times and the author confirmed it's meant to be that way it's okay to have multiple interpretations
This is the agenda, not wizard of oz at all
oh hun
Yes cause Wizard of Oz was know to be so hetero- you know that’s why they called the straights back in the day “friends of Dorothy” /s
I had no idea how lgbtqia+ this film is. I won’t be watching it.
and it will still be a success, ur loss
It’s not even though 😭 there just saying that to seem woke
Definetly not a kids movie.
Oh no whatever will they do... my gosh the more I see people like you the more I support
@@TicTac27it is though, research the history of the book the musical is based on
Absolute delusion.
They kiss twice in the book I fear..
Hoping to soon wake up from this stupid nightmare... Geesh!😑
boo hoo
Defintely not gonna watch that. 😂
@tjingtjongbil7694
Oh no whatever will they do.. you won't watch it just because they're talking about Queer stuff... if that bothers you, you might as well stop being a fan of the wicked franchise all together... the author of the book was gay.. the more you know
@maggiemccauslin1084 that's not the point. But it suppose to be a kid movie.
It's .. really not. Deal with it, you homophobic prick 😂@@tjingtjongbil7694
This is the wokest interview start ever.
So far the movie is doing terrible because its woke bs
@user-gy3yi1yu6e
What do you mean? Everyone is saying that they love it.
have you read the book 😂
In the book glinda literally is in love with elphaba
not really. u just hate to see representation lol
You lie so confidently it’s kind of impressive 😭 a simple google search proves it’s doing quite well actually
You didnt write the character you dont get to decide if they are gay your an actor a bad one at that
The author of Wicked is gay and in the novels Glinda and Elphaba literally kiss so
Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. Romans 1:28 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, Acts 3:19
I mean, when I heard "What is this feeling?", I immediately thought it was an enemies-to-lovers song 🤣The whole time I kept thinking they should just forget about Fiyero and get together. I was glad to find out that Glinda and Elphie did kiss in the book. 🤣
SICK 🤢🤮
Lmao don't follow anything wicked or be a fan of the franchise anymore.... the author of the original book was gay
They literally kissed in the book. Why do queer people in media make you sick?
Ari and cynthia are my platonic couple🥹🫠 all they said about the relationship and bond that gelphie have, that they love each other in a way that is tracends sexuallity and it's a loving, supportive, trust and safe space, i feel the exact same about them🥹🩷💚
