  • Straight job by these guitar masters. A standard tune but also quite extraordinary with this top line-up. With Charlie Byrd and his brother Joe Byrd on bass

I'm not going to say one is better than the other because they are not. All three are incredible guitar players!!!!

Great talent; I miss them all, though I did not know any of them personally. Never saw Tal Farlow in person; I did see Mr Kessel and Mr. Byrd perform.

The DVD series is called 'The Legends of Jazz Guitar''
There are 3 volumes & all 3 are great. I have seen them on Ebay used & new.
In one of the clips Joe Byrd does a little solo on that Ovation hollowbody bass, the tone he gets is fantastic ... cheers !

I just changed the info, the bros are added to it. Could you give me a hint what could be the best of those (commercial available) DVD's you're talking about with Charlie and Joe participating, I might be interested....

At 6:54, near the end of the current chorus, it seemed to me like Tal looks over at Barney to let him know he's done soloing, then Charlie picked up on that -- But I could be wrong....

The title of the song is wrong, and the name “Charlie Byrd” is nowhere to be found in your video title.

Tony Lombardo Don’t try to be the wise guy to me. If I’d used the full line up, the textline would be cut off due length limitations. If you ‘open’ the extra info, you’ll see I’ve really mentioned their names! 🤔🙄😡
