@@Lou_Sylw_Bulgarian_Rescue_Dogs If you get the chance try the Gower Peninsula…. Around Swansea where I am from ….. Three Cliffs bay voted the second best beach in the UK, plus places like Langland, Caswell, Rhosilli so many outstanding coastlines …… as we say here …. Gods Country !👍
Legend. We did manage to visit Three Cliffs Bay. Took the dogs up the Sand Dunes. We were there for 2 days. The first I left my drone in the van. The second it was blowing a gale so I couldn't use it. Really enjoyed it though. Beautiful place. Never made it as far at Rhossili though. That looks super aswell! All the best mate 👍

Thank you John. I absolutely loved Wales. For such a small country, it has so much beauty. Gutted we couldn't get to the Green Bridge of Wales. Spent a week waiting for the road to open and then when we went on the day. They had Nato on the base and extended the shut time! Could have cried! 😅👍

Thank you. We did also visit Cardiff, which we loved. I am not just saying it and Sylw would confirm. But I absolutely loved Wales. The North and South are very different but both beautiful! 👍❤
Well Wales os my most favourite place in the whole world, it's rugged coastline, scenic countryside and breathtaking views are really hard to beat, especially when all that is combined with beautiful weather. I've had many family holidays and trips to Wales and I can't think of another place that quite matches it. I like how you can go to a beach and be the only person in sight, yet the place is stunningly beautiful with a backdrop like the snowdonia mountains. I enjoyed your video and added your channel, being a drone pilot myself, I noticed your drone clips and hope you will connect with a fellow drone pilot.
Thank you. Your absolutely right. Its beautiful in Wales. I had heard the South was but never heard much about the North. But I have to say they are both beautiful. Enjoyed every minute of our time there. Its hard to say but I would say Pembrokeshire was our favourite part. 👍❤
@@Lou_Sylw_Bulgarian_Rescue_Dogs I think North and South both have their appeal, I enjoyed the Llyn peninsula the most, from Pwllheli out to Abersoch and along the North side around Nefyn etc I don't think I ever went to Pembrokeshire, my parents may have taken me when I was very young. The furthest South I remember we went on family holidays was Barmouth, Talybont area and upwards, so Harlech, Porthmadog up towards Angelsey and along the North Coast. Angelsey is a fantastic island to explore just on it's own, so many hidden coves and tranquil beaches etc The thing I love most about Wales is the tranquility, the miles and miles of almost empty beaches. I remember the very busy times back in the 1970s when you literally couldn't find a spot on the beach, they were absolutely packed! Thank goodness the masses still go abroad looking for the sun 🌞 I've come back from a week camping in Wales looking like I spent a month out in the sun in teneriffe! 😊
Brilliant. Your absolutely right about Anglesey. We spent a few days there on this trip but we didn't take very much footage, so decided to leave it out. But loved the little lighthouse and the beaches. If you ever get chance, definitley head over to Pembrokeshire, you will 100% not regret it. Especially, if coastline walks is something you enjoy. There is 299 km of unspoilt beauty to explore! 👍❤
Oh your very lucky. Its genuinely beautiful. Gutted we never got to see the Green Bridge of Wales. We waited for nearly a week but the firing range wouldn't open 🥺

It looked like a little trickle on that. So glad I never missed it. It turned out to be the best one. So powerful. Could hear the power from it about 2 mins into the walk. Its awesome! 👍
Its not a bad climb to be honest. We went up the Watkin Path. Apparently, there is an easier one but its longer. Fingers crossed you have a clear summit!! 🤞

I have a big family (9 siblings) and that is a running joke amongst them. Always calling me out for my big nose, so I walked right into that one 🤣🤣 But yeah, Wales is amazing tbf. We were abit underwhelmed before we drove there. But we loved it. So much beauty in such a little country. The coastline is unbelievable and we do enjoy a waterfall 😅. It is however a pain in the arse to find wild camping spots there! 🤷♂️👍

Great video, I watched this a couple of months ago and instantly booked a site in the south of Wales, the four falls and henrhyd falls have been ticked off our list today, some great photo opportunities and some aching feet at the end of it thanks again 👍

@@Lou_Sylw_Bulgarian_Rescue_Dogs it was very calm in relation to how you had seen it, but also quite busy........ even during the week which surprised us. If you haven't been already I can highly recommend a trip to Cwmorthin quarry just west of Tanygrisiau, we walked it on possibly the worst day ever but it was still amazing.

We tend to visit everywhere early to avoid them but tbf it was quiet and raining when we went. The four waterfalls trail had a few people but again it wasn't too busy. I feel like the UK hotpots are always really busy though eh 🤷♂️

We did speak to someone at the summit who said that Crib Goch was the best for views but he said not to bother walking back that way because it was just completely foggy. Still enjoyed it tbf. I just stumbled across your channel whilst doing some research into wales before I head off on a trip there in a few months - and I must say, I am so glad I did! The way you have put together your videos is so beautiful and really shows off the journey. Thank you for sharing this and I can't wait to see more of your adventures! x
Thank you Hayley. Will you be doing the trip in a van/motorhome? I don't know why but we genuinely wasn't that excited about it. But it turns out its actually beautiful. So much to see and do. There is 2 places we missed that we really wanted to go to. One was Rhossili Beach and the other was The Green Bridge Of Wales in Pembrokeshire. For the latter make sure the army base is not firing before making the journey. Because they close the road and you can't get to it. We waited nearly a week for it to open and it never did. From memory its called Castlemartin firing range. They have a number you can call on the Gov site and they will tell you when the road is open for visitors! 👍
Hi love your vids , we live 3 miles from henyrd waterfall, believe it or not we use to swim on top of that waterfall, and in some years it can freeze over witch is right off it to see 👍

Thank you Derek. It was a heavy old trek 😅 When we got to the top, we spoke to a local who mentioned the Crib Goch. He said that was the path with the best views but recommended we gave it a miss for the way back because with the fog and mist he said it wouldn't be worth it for the danger of the trail. Thank you Doug. I am not going to lie, its tough to park up for the night in Wales. It is obviously possible but it wasn't easy. Especially in Pembrokeshire! You will love it still though. We did anyway 👍
Wales is the best.... We have coast, mountains, falls... Dark sky protection in certain areas... The observatory in North Wales is incredible... Enjoy ❤️

Aw thank you so much. I must say the new gopros are really good. We have had a few over the past and the video footage is very choppy. These new ones are virtually still. The stabilisation is impressive for a little thing. The drones are just unbelievable aswell. I can't believe I never got one earlier! 😅😬
I live not far away from here, love packing a picnic & spending time down Monknash if you look up towards the cliffs you will see bones sticking out, if you had gone to the Plough & Harrow Pub it’s got all the History there & amazing food of cause! So glad you enjoyed it..
Your very lucky. Its beautiful around there. We just missed the summer but still managed to see it in the sunshine. We genuinely, really enjoyed Wales. The coastline from Dunraven to Pembrokeshire is so different but both amazing! 👍❤

Betws-y-coed is beautiful isn't it? We only made a quick stop and we were off up to Snowdon and Lynn Dinas! Being from Blackpool, shamefully, we have never got out and visited places like Wales and the Lakes which are obviously only a couple of hours away. We will definitley return to North Wales and see more of the UK when we return! All the best 👍

Great walk: Did this with my daughter on the hottest day of the year in 2021. Best part was plunging into the waterfall pools on the way down. Must have been 100 plus people in the (many) pools along the cascade. Great place to hang out on a hot day.
I used to travel up to the waterfalls from Swansea for day trips. Now I live within walking distance - my kids and their friends used to swim there in the summer. Handily placed for the Welsh Whisky Distillery too. 👍 Still miss Gower, though.
Thats awesome. We hope to move to somewhere out in the sticks when we return. Genuinley, not sure where. But need to improve that quality of life. Unfortunately, Blackpool doesn't cut it for us 😜👍
Thank you Den. They are absolutely awesome to be honest. In all 5 of our films to date we use a DJI Mini 1. But after I lost that one on a mountain in Croatia. We have just upgraded to a DJI Mini 2. I would recommend both but if you have the extra penny's definitely go for the DJI Mini 2. Much less chance of losing it and the footage is worth the extra bit of money. Happy New Year 👍🍻
I’ve recently retired so this year I plan to explore wales in my bell tent. I used to bomb around on my motorbike but now I’ve sold it, I’m doing posh in my tent. Love Wales. But then I would say that- I’m Welsh

@@leenickson5684 Yeah I can imagine that being the case. Tbf when we were in Wales it wasn't too bad anywhere. But the day the sun came out at Stackpole, the carpark was full and it was midweek. Not going to lie. I hate crowds. Storr on Skye was busy aswell. We walked up at 6am. By 8am there were crowds into 100's 😬👍

Pen y fan used to be a nice walk, but now it’s crazy busy all the time. My dads ashes are scattered up there and I snuck up there in lockdown and had the place to myself, which is a once in a life time opportunity, it was amazing. If I go up now it’s on the bike on the quieter side. Let me know when you’re in wales next I’ll let you know some other nice walks 👍🏻

Your going to love it. Its beautiful. I would visit Stackpole Quay. You can park in the National Trust Car Park. That is where we took out the Kayak and visited Barafundle Bay beach. There is also a beautiful coastline walk around the cliffs to another beach that is beautiful. Its next to Church Rock Island. I would also recommend you visit the Green Bridge of Wales and St Govens Chapel. Just make sure the Castlemartin firing range is not firing before making the trip because they close the oy road to it when they are open! The waterfall is Henryhd Falls in the Brecon Beacons! Enjoy and I hope you get some sunshine!! 🤞👍

Thank you Michael. We have a Citroen Relay L3 H2. I am 6ft 4" and could have done with the H3 but there were none around for our budget. Vans are ridiculously expensive at the moment! 👍
@@369dabbler Enjoy your time in Phuket mate. We haven't been back to Thailand since 2013. We spent about 6 months in SE Asia and after the initial Culture shock in Bangkok. We loved it. The Philippines was our favourite place. But yeah, your right. People are all over the 'Vanlife' thing. Dont see them coming down anytime soon either!
I used to live very near Dunraven Bay, it was my local beach for sunset photography. A but further up the coast and there are dinosaur footprints in the stones. I now live near Waterfall Country, another photographers paradise. Really good videos but you desperately need to work on your welsh pronunciation 😁🤣😂 Your brother must be a busy boy, I’ve got 3 under 9, zero free time to yourself. I was supposed to be out before first light this morning but I’m building LEGO instead 🤓 Your vids are very good, nice to see my local walks being viewed through someone else’s vision.

The entire coastline on the South of Wales is amazing but strange how different it can be from Dunraven to Pembrokeshire 🤷♂️ Also loved the Waterfall country. The Brecon Beacons is beautiful. Couldn't believe how many waterfalls we saw in Wales. I think it was 14 in total. I will have to work on the Welsh! Not easy 😅👍

We did. But the weather was miserable and I couldn't fly the drone and you couldn't hear us talking because of the wind. We see alot of places but not everything makes the video!
We had a DJI Mini 1 which is really good and basically the cheapest of the best drone maker. But I lost that one last week. So upgraded to the DJI Mini 2 now. I wouldn't say there was alot between them. It really depends where you plan to fly it! 🤔
@@startaylor123 They are awesome aren't they? I love the DJI drones. Annoying that I lost one but it happens 🤷♂️. I often have to point the camera down slightly to catch the light right. Other than that I just point and shoot 😅👍🍻

Well Wales os my most favourite place in the whole world, it's rugged coastline, scenic countryside and breathtaking views are really hard to beat, especially when all that is combined with beautiful weather.
I've had many family holidays and trips to Wales and I can't think of another place that quite matches it.
I like how you can go to a beach and be the only person in sight, yet the place is stunningly beautiful with a backdrop like the snowdonia mountains.
I enjoyed your video and added your channel, being a drone pilot myself, I noticed your drone clips and hope you will connect with a fellow drone pilot.

@@Lou_Sylw_Bulgarian_Rescue_Dogs I think North and South both have their appeal, I enjoyed the Llyn peninsula the most, from Pwllheli out to Abersoch and along the North side around Nefyn etc
I don't think I ever went to Pembrokeshire, my parents may have taken me when I was very young. The furthest South I remember we went on family holidays was Barmouth, Talybont area and upwards, so Harlech, Porthmadog up towards Angelsey and along the North Coast.
Angelsey is a fantastic island to explore just on it's own, so many hidden coves and tranquil beaches etc
The thing I love most about Wales is the tranquility, the miles and miles of almost empty beaches.
I remember the very busy times back in the 1970s when you literally couldn't find a spot on the beach, they were absolutely packed!
Thank goodness the masses still go abroad looking for the sun 🌞
I've come back from a week camping in Wales looking like I spent a month out in the sun in teneriffe! 😊
Brilliant. Your absolutely right about Anglesey. We spent a few days there on this trip but we didn't take very much footage, so decided to leave it out. But loved the little lighthouse and the beaches. If you ever get chance, definitley head over to Pembrokeshire, you will 100% not regret it. Especially, if coastline walks is something you enjoy. There is 299 km of unspoilt beauty to explore! 👍❤

Its not a bad climb to be honest. We went up the Watkin Path. Apparently, there is an easier one but its longer. Fingers crossed you have a clear summit!! 🤞

I have a big family (9 siblings) and that is a running joke amongst them. Always calling me out for my big nose, so I walked right into that one 🤣🤣 But yeah, Wales is amazing tbf. We were abit underwhelmed before we drove there. But we loved it. So much beauty in such a little country. The coastline is unbelievable and we do enjoy a waterfall 😅. It is however a pain in the arse to find wild camping spots there! 🤷♂️👍

If you haven't been already I can highly recommend a trip to Cwmorthin quarry just west of Tanygrisiau, we walked it on possibly the worst day ever but it was still amazing.

We did speak to someone at the summit who said that Crib Goch was the best for views but he said not to bother walking back that way because it was just completely foggy. Still enjoyed it tbf. Thank you Hayley. Will you be doing the trip in a van/motorhome? I don't know why but we genuinely wasn't that excited about it. But it turns out its actually beautiful. So much to see and do. There is 2 places we missed that we really wanted to go to. One was Rhossili Beach and the other was The Green Bridge Of Wales in Pembrokeshire. For the latter make sure the army base is not firing before making the journey. Because they close the road and you can't get to it. We waited nearly a week for it to open and it never did. From memory its called Castlemartin firing range. They have a number you can call on the Gov site and they will tell you when the road is open for visitors! 👍

Hi love your vids , we live 3 miles from henyrd waterfall, believe it or not we use to swim on top of that waterfall, and in some years it can freeze over witch is right off it to see 👍

Thank you Derek. It was a heavy old trek 😅 When we got to the top, we spoke to a local who mentioned the Crib Goch. He said that was the path with the best views but recommended we gave it a miss for the way back because with the fog and mist he said it wouldn't be worth it for the danger of the trail. Aw thank you so much. I must say the new gopros are really good. We have had a few over the past and the video footage is very choppy. These new ones are virtually still. The stabilisation is impressive for a little thing. The drones are just unbelievable aswell. I can't believe I never got one earlier! 😅😬

Being from Blackpool, shamefully, we have never got out and visited places like Wales and the Lakes which are obviously only a couple of hours away. Great walk: Did this with my daughter on the hottest day of the year in 2021. Best part was plunging into the waterfall pools on the way down. Must have been 100 plus people in the (many) pools along the cascade. Great place to hang out on a hot day.

I used to travel up to the waterfalls from Swansea for day trips. Now I live within walking distance - my kids and their friends used to swim there in the summer. Handily placed for the Welsh Whisky Distillery too. 👍

Thank you Den. They are absolutely awesome to be honest. In all 5 of our films to date we use a DJI Mini 1. But after I lost that one on a mountain in Croatia. We have just upgraded to a DJI Mini 2. I would recommend both but if you have the extra penny's definitely go for the DJI Mini 2. Much less chance of losing it and the footage is worth the extra bit of money. Happy New Year 👍🍻

Not going to lie. I hate crowds. Storr on Skye was busy aswell. We walked up at 6am. By 8am there were crowds into 100's 😬👍

Pen y fan used to be a nice walk, but now it’s crazy busy all the time. My dads ashes are scattered up there and I snuck up there in lockdown and had the place to myself, which is a once in a life time opportunity, it was amazing. If I go up now it’s on the bike on the quieter side. Let me know when you’re in wales next I’ll let you know some other nice walks 👍🏻

Great video. I’m going to Pembrokeshire. What’s the best places to visit? And where was that amazing waterfall you walked under?
Your going to love it. Its beautiful. I would visit Stackpole Quay. You can park in the National Trust Car Park. That is where we took out the Kayak and visited Barafundle Bay beach. There is also a beautiful coastline walk around the cliffs to another beach that is beautiful. Its next to Church Rock Island. I would also recommend you visit the Green Bridge of Wales and St Govens Chapel. Just make sure the Castlemartin firing range is not firing before making the trip because they close the oy road to it when they are open! The waterfall is Henryhd Falls in the Brecon Beacons! Enjoy and I hope you get some sunshine!! 🤞👍

I used to live very near Dunraven Bay, it was my local beach for sunset photography. A but further up the coast and there are dinosaur footprints in the stones. I now live near Waterfall Country, another photographers paradise. Really good videos but you desperately need to work on your welsh pronunciation 😁🤣😂

Couldn't believe how many waterfalls we saw in Wales. I think it was 14 in total. I will have to work on the Welsh! Not easy 😅👍

We did. But the weather was miserable and I couldn't fly the drone and you couldn't hear us talking because of the wind. We see alot of places but not everything makes the video!

We had a DJI Mini 1 which is really good and basically the cheapest of the best drone maker. But I lost that one last week. So upgraded to the DJI Mini 2 now. I wouldn't say there was alot between them. It really depends where you plan to fly it! 🤔

@@startaylor123 They are awesome aren't they? I love the DJI drones. Annoying that I lost one but it happens 🤷♂️. I often have to point the camera down slightly to catch the light right. Other than that I just point and shoot 😅👍🍻

Just returned back from 5 nights at Keswick and I was lucky to get it out a few times and the last being a close shave over Derwent water where a couple of guls tried to attack it 🥵👍🍻🍾 Merry Christmas 🎅
