Busch should have been parked for intentionally wrecking the 47 car. Nascar did nothing so Ricky looked after it.Good for him. Nascar is really becoming a joke. Very inconsistent on their rulings. Chastain didn,t get a fine when he punched Noah.
Chastain / Gragson was a Heat of the moment thing that occurred due to a Last second decision an Nascar took that into Consideration. Stenhouse had 2 hours to cool off and get a better head on ... he did the Complete opposite AND pretty much spelled out IN Detail his intentions to Meet Busch after the Race. He should be glad he didn't get Suspended Races. In Court they Called Premeditated Attack.
Well if they did penalized Kyle for retailing track, they should have added an additional penalty of suspension to Ricky for saying "I will wreck you in Charlotte next week." In interviews this week Ricky has lied by stating he said Might wreck him. Look at the videos if the brawl. He never said "might". IMHO, Ricky's fine was appropriate for the assault AND the threat to wreck Kyle in Charlotte. I think NASCAR decided to not penalize Kyle and not add on a suspension to Ricky and move on. The suspension would have been works than paying $75K.
Chase, say what you want about him as a driver/person, isn't afraid to call out some issues that other drivers (notably, those under the most popular driver in the 2000s era of NASCAR) have been saying, and used popularity for immunity unlike other drivers that got fined just for speaking out in the past
Chase of all people should be THE MOST pissed about this. KB has said he went after Stenhouse intentionally. Stenhouse hadn't just walled KB, KB was just PO'd and took it out on Stenhouse who was handy. That is basically what KB has said. 2 yrs ago, Chase was walled hard by Hamlin and ruined his car and he reacted to being walled by chasing down Hamlin and sending him. Chase got sat down. Lost points and fine. KB crashes Stenhouse, claims he did it intentionally and Ricjky was just handy and walks pretty as can be with a little shiner, reporting sporty for the next race. And the guy he just flat out punts gets fined for being pissed? WTF?
Chase is absolutely right. But he better not say too much more, or he may get a fine as well. We know what happened when Tony Stewart did this a few years ago.
Stenhouse wasn't fined for the fight alone,he was fined for his words and actions leading up to the fight and involving his crew and his Daddy. It's not like he swung on him right after the incident,he waited over an hour (until the race was over)and gave two interviews telling the media he was gonna do it.
So why werent there any officials waiting with him if they had 2 hours warning that it was gonna happen? Almost like nascar wanted this to happen. They knew it was gonna happen. He frickin told em it would happen. And absolutely nobody tried to prevent it

I think the point is that they are marketing it but frowning on it at the same time. 75k is excessive for a fight regardless of how long he had to think about it. I've seen drivers fight it out in the pits after an altercation on the track that happened way back on lap 15. If they were 75k worth of concerned about it, they would have prevented it from the start. I don't think being raised is even relevant here, that's just weird.
@Darth0308 no what's "weird" is forming a conclusive opinion of something without any semblance of research or understanding of the history of NASCAR let alone the specifics of the individual incident. First off the usual fine is a mere 10 grand, but that's for altercations wherein ones father doesn't step in nor does the driver premeditate verbally their intentions. Hence the unusually high amount. That said you're criticizing a sport that was started by out of work ex-criminals whose expertise was no longer needed for illegal transportation of liquor. A sport that has always advertised on-track fights as well as fining the fighters. This is nothing new, and to criticize NASCAR for this form of promotion is to say you've no knowledge about the history of the sport whatsoever. Not fining a person for assaulting another person would be "weird." Not using bad publicity to a corporation's advantage in advertising would be "weird." Not understanding basic human nature is very "weird," in my opinion...

Stenhouse certainly got the most attention from this but i can't stop laughing about Denny Hamlin saying he would rather win a lot of races over a championship. only people who say that are those who haven't won a championship. what a clown comment
It's actually a really smart goal, considering wins no longer count towards the end results of the championship, they only help the initial entry. That and the fact that 3 winning payouts add up to more than the bonus payout for a championship win. It's exponentially more lucrative to win individual races because the only clownlike joke is the craps shoot playoffs for NASCAR "champ." Race purses are approximately 1 and a half to over 2 million dollars, whereas a Championship bonus is 3 million. Doesn't take a math major to conclude that winning races is much more important than finishing in front of 3 specific cars in the very last race. But sure, keep thinking a NASCAR veteran has no clue what he's talking about when the subject is concerning his life-long career... ..

NASCAR can't have it both ways, either drivers need to be allowed to "settle" their differences after a race or they will retaliate on the track. If Stenhouse didn't do this then he would eventually wreck KyB on the track, now they can move on. NASCAR recently justified not fining for a fight bc they don't want drivers retaliating by intentionally wrecking each other on the track.
Points for Chase letting his personality come out. Not that I am condoning hitting someone in the nose, but I feel like the fact KB intentionally spun Ricky into the wall is being lost. Actions like this on the track are far more risky to driver’s health, cause teams money and time in repairs, and can impact other teams that had nothing to do with the situation. Oddly, it seems a punch causes far less damage.
Drivers the kings of restraint. Like Austin Hill. Without a Hans device those wrecks can kill you. Safer barrier etc. These guys didn't drive when wrecks killed guys severely injured them.

Jordan should be smarter than that keeping Wallace in the stable. Wallace believes just parading around in a fire suit you are a nascar driver, but his average wins shows his just a caution car for the true driver of the team Tyler R.
He does not want that job. Hes said it many many times lol
@@PeterPan-xe3lgbubba didnt even start that, it was a team member. Not a bubba supporter in the slightest, but you should at least get your facts straight before being one of those guys. Just as insufferable as bubbas fans lol. And if u really stopped watching, why are you here? Just to complain?
💕#9 .Way to go Chase. Don't sugar coat it!
Good luck today. 🙏
what i dont get, is why stenhouse had his dad gwt involved. for goosness sakes stand up and be a man. youre 30 aomething years old, you dont need your old man fighting your fights.
Totally agree with him. Total bullshit to fine a guy that is gonna pump the ratings up for charlotte and nascar is gonna make a shit ton of money off of it, but they are gonna give the largest fine ever for it.
Chase, is such an honest guy, he speaks the truth..love him he's a big GEORGIA BULLDOG FAN and so am I..
Finally. Chase Elliott says something that I agree with.
Ricky deserved more than he got! He sent Busch into the wall and then started the fight! He should have got suspended for a few races
I didn't hear not blasting
Chase is💯percent right
As soon as nascar gets their shit together and stops this constant bullshit I will start watching again.
Props to chase for basically speaking against the establishment. Good for him.
I agree with Kenny Wallace, nascar should pay Ricky 75K. For the publicity. And kb just got a free pass to keep acting like the douche he is
Man this is the best comment so for.
The kind of thing that made nascar big and they fine guys over it.
Drivers the kings of restraint. Like Austin Hill. Without a Hans device those wrecks can kill you. Safer barrier etc.
These guys didn't drive when wrecks killed guys severely injured them.
Nearly 10 minute video labeled as blasting nascar while only 30 seconds of it had anything to do with the fine 😂
The only thing that sucks about this fight is that kyle bush still has his teeth
Blaney is my guy, but I respect Chase even more after that comment!
sound the Sireen for chases comments on Ricky spot on
I think that every time Nascar uses it for advertisement for any reason he ought to get 10% of it and then the 75,000 dollar 💵 fine doesn't look as bad 🤔, but it alot of money for a fight 😉
Love Chase real stand up guy a fair guy that keeps it 💯
Speak your mind because of the time chase elliott
might be one of the most ridiculous comment sections ive seen in my life right here, NASCAR can penalize Stenhouse for waiting for two hours to punch without even attempting to have a conversation for more than a minute, but also promote it because NASCAR Media and NASCAR Officials are two seperate entities under the same banner, See: 1979 Daytona 500 fight.
I bet even KB thinks it's bullshit! This is so stupid!!! I'm not a Ricky stenhouse fan, but this is just idiotic! Clicks and views NASCAR! Bravo!
nadcarr should pay Ricky for promoting nascar
Why didn't they fine ross chastain when he het noah? Nascar is inconsistent
Ricky's was premeditated. They haven't fined anyone for a punch in the heat of the moment. That's the BIG difference.
