Just added the ultra 2 on my trailboss custom and I'm blown away. Best lighting I've ever had and blows the dim OEM halogens away. The ultra 2's are brighter than the high beam halogens but not blinding. Thanks HR and GTR
They are not bad bulbs good lighting at night, led's are the way to go now..can see much more, just wondering if they draw more wattage from the battery?
Honestly mine are coming in today and I can not wait to put them in and the ones that come with the truck are so bad and so dangerous. At night time if you live in the dark areas you need to upgrade to something and these I hope are going to be perfect.

I asked my local dealership if they would replace the bulbs for me (from Halogen to LED) and they told me it can’t be done. I was told I had to replace the entire headlight and the cost was going to be high. I asked them why they show it being done all over RUclips and they told me I need to replace the head light assembly. Not happy they were not honest! Going to attempt the change out this weekend.
I bought the ultra 2 and csp mini and the ultra 2 will not let you get the cover completely sealed all the way around. I’ve been trying for 2 hours to get the cover on right. So you might want to tell people that cause I just paid 200$ for a bulb that my luck water will get in there and hurt it and boom 200$ down the drain. Would have bought different if I’d known this.
I had the same issue the hardest part was the dust covers and I’m worried about the water as well. I guess I can but the extended one but that’s even more money.

We haven't tested the sea light bulbs in the Silverado to see if they need resistors or not. But all of the bulbs that we did test in this video did not require a resistor.
We've been doing a lot of testing on those Silverados, The SV.4 does really well in both the Reflector/Reflector and Projector/Reflector headlight housings in that particular truck. -Chris W
This combo is brighter than the factory LED trucks. A lot of the factory LED equipped vehicles coming out today aren’t impressively bright, But they are getting better.

Unfortunately, I ordered the CSP mini’s for the high beam but received the S-V.4’s instead. I cannot get them to fit properly in the light chamber and have been trying to make contact with HR for over a week. I have yet to get an email back from them. I’m currently on Hold with them now waiting to speak to someone. This is day 3 of calling and currently have been on Hold for 51 minutes.

Not sure on that one, but these bulbs should work in both headlight housings! You will have to check with Chevrolet to see if the headlights are the same from the standard to work truck models. Good luck with that my man!

I think it depends on trim? Or idk, I have a 2019 Silverado custom and the tail lights are led expect the reverse lights and license plate lights, and front is all halogen, but then I've seen LTs with les front end and halogen tail lights.

Do not go with lasfit. I was able to get the low beams in but the high beams are virtually impossible. I even used their vehicle selector on their website. Pure trash. Don't do it.
@@RetrospectsToo Let me specify. They're pure trash because on their website they advertise them as compatible with this trim. They are not. There is a piece of plastic that prevents them from sitting properly in the housing. That's why you see a lot of RUclipsrs with our same trim level installing the Seatlights; the form factor of their LED is the same form factor as the OEM halogen bulbs that come with the truck.
It is still available, but only for offroad use. We have halogen options that you can use for street use, and if you would like to look into some of those just let us know! Have a great day!
2019+ Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom Ultra 2 LED Low Beam Bulbs.. Are these low beams only or switchbacks? will they fit my 2020 Chevy silverado 1500 custom hb3 high beams, h11 low.. Also, onthe casing near light it say 12 v, will these ultra 2 leds exceed the voltage on my load on my truck?
Holy Glare Batman, there was no cutoff to be seen with those Ultra 2s yes they're the brightest bulbs, but they're useless if they can't keep to that factory beam pattern, the SV.4s were miles better in that case

All of the other bulbs were only used in the low beams unfortunately. The only bulb we used in the high beam in this video was the CSP Mini. Sorry for the confusion!
The new GTR Lighting Ultra2 bulbs have a lifetime warranty and should be the last bulb you need to buy for that truck. Thank you for watching! -Chris W
These maintained a very similar beam pattern to the factory halogen bulbs. In our road testing, we didn't get flashed. That being said, We also took the time to aim the headlights properly on the wall. That makes a huge difference! -Chris W

If you have OEM LED you cannot upgrade the headlights at all unfortunately. They are sealed units.
You sould do some on road test to spice up the channel, sometimes it gets a little repetitive.

This should still be the same, and no modifications necessary. We have plugs that will work already on the bulbs!

Did you test the factory LED brightness? I wanted to put lows and highs that are equal to or maybe a little bright than the factory led trucks.

Is it alright to seal the LED’s inside a dust cap with no cut outs? Won’t it overheat inside since the heat can’t dissipate ?
There is actually quite a bit of free air space in most of these headlight housings. We haven’t had an issue with it.

Once I added these gtr lights to my trailboss, there isn't a light system brighter. Being a reflector beam makes no difference whatsoever.
What about Philips Ultinon and Osram Ledriving?

The Ultra Series 2 bulb does fit the low beam but it is a tight fit.
$40,000+ truck comes stock with halogen bulbs, wtf Chevy.

Factory beam is retained in real world streets and you definitely won't need anything brighter. Crazy bright.
