The River People

Did you know that the River People of Sikunga and Impalila in the Zambezi Region in Namibia decided to take action and restore their fish and rivers?
In 2015, they received the official recognition of the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources over the Fisheries Reserves on their rivers.
This film also acts as a way to convince the "River People” of the Kavango, Kwando, Linyanti, Chobe and Zambezi rivers to support the establishment of wild fisheries reserves.
