The beginning of the song sounds like the start of Mad World( I like their version of Mad World, even though the original from "Donnie Darko" was a more darker, hauntingly beautiful version, especially if you have seen the movie, not just heard the song). I know there are probably some younger people that may not have heard of either "Mad World"- the original or know that it is from that movie( mentioned previously).
