ASARO | SWEET POTATO PORRIDGE

RECIPE FOR ASARO | SWEET POTATO PORRIDGE | YAM POTTAGE | YAM PORRIDGE
This recipe works so well for yam or Irish potatoes or coco yam or sweet potatoes as used here.
Ingredients
3 big sweet potatoes (about 1.2kg)
1 cup beef stock
1/3 cup pre-cooked shaki (tripe or towel)
1/3 cup pre-cooked ponmo (cow skin)
1 smoked fish torn
4 pcs of chicken gizzard, cut into chunks
1/4 cup sliced uqwu
1 tbsp ground crayfish
1 tbsp whole crayfish
1/4 cup palm oil
1 medium sized onion + 4 scotch bonnet + 3 cayenne pepper (blended)
4 cubes of seasoning
1 1/2 cup of water
