I really enjoyed this video, thank you for flying our airplane. Also remember, if you want to slow down, cut min throttle and max RPM. The prop slows you down. Pulling the prop out gives you a very slippery plane, as you experienced (do this if you lost the engine and wanted the maximum glide). Thanks again for flying our plane, very entertaining vid and thanks for the good words.

@@jep1103 can you explain why A2A says to cut throttle and go max RPM? OMG and LOL how do I explain this.....I understand why a prop pitch with blades acting as a brake but how is this considered max RPM? I thought the less the blades obstruct the faster the engine is allowed to rotate.
This is surely a "game" changer. This plane is awesome, not only in graphics, but in flight handling, sounds, and maintenance. This is how all the planes in MSFS should be. Thank's A2A

A year later and PMDG still doesn't have an Tablet .Congrats A2A this plane is simply stunning. Blows away all other GA aircrafts in all flight sims.

btw the sun visors didn't come down because of the mouse scroll, they came down because of the G force when you had issues with the AP!! Around 38:16 you see them come down during the sharp up/dowm manuver. That's incredible attention to details from A2A.
I had C172 in FSX. That was a difficult aircraft to keep happy. Looking forward to looking after this aircraft. Like it’s livery specific now. I can have a new aircraft for quick flights and my own aircraft for the detailed maintenance.
Just wanted to let you know, and I think I have said it before, you are my "Go-To" when I'm thinking about an add-on for MSFS (and XP12 to a lesser extent). Thank you for your work!
If you need to slow down, drop the gear a lot earlier. Vle in a Comanche is 150mph. That's your speed brake. Also, pull the power all the way out until it slows to where you want it. The Comanche is a slick airplane. You aren't going to stall the engine by pulling the power out. The wind through the prop is going to have the RPMs nowhere near idle on the ground (and it shouldn't quit then either).

I wondered how long it would take for A2A…their study level Cessnas in XP 11 were AMAZING, and critically renowned. So, this one is nothing short of that. We need more STUDY LEVEL, full on simulation planes like PMDG and A2A, and less “play” planes…
They never did an addon for XP11, only for FSX and P3D.

I had the FSX version and was one of the best Aircraft I had. Didn't the FSX version have it so you could click the headphone jack and it would simulate having a headphones on with a lower ambient sound. Would of been cool in this model. Anyone who has the payware SF50 vision jet knows how cool it is.
I purchased her today. It does have the clicking on the input jack for a sensation of having headphones on. Not only that if you click on the red light that's on the cable it emulates Noise cancelling. Very nice plane. Also when he has issues with vs, the plane does not have VS mode. He needs to make a new config for his controls etc and not have a VS mode for descending/ascending

Love this Aircraft. Another great feature I noticed is you can use VR or track ir when doing the walk around for example you can look into the fuel tank
That was fun but that runway is short and some aircraft usually land from the high end which would be the opposite end to where you land. Great aircraft the Comanche is. Nice video

The alt disconnect button is on the yoke or if you removed the yoke it is just below the hole where the yoke use to be. On this older auto pilot the alt hold is separate from the rest of the auto pilot. This is modeled correctly.
This does indeed set a new level of expectations for MSFS 2024 and the other developers.
I need to wait a week before I get money to buy this plane but I must have it. :D
A2A wrote the rule book long ago. It is just now being applied to MSFS.

Mike, I have to tell you that you are my favorite RUclipsr, and I fly ga everyday. I have both Milviz 310 and Caronado Moony, but I just can't justify $50 for a 160 knot airplane.
I had this aircraft in P3D.. loved it.. Just bought for MSFS2020... Had same throttling issue you did on approach ...for some reason had to push throttle button to throttle down... Great ac... Good video.. Very bad landing😁

I have their Cessna 182 for FSX:SE it was the most realistic bird I've ever purchased. This just takes it to the next level.
If only the others GA aircrafts were designed like this...details like the door opening, etc...Good study level aircraft.

She was purchased within a min of finding out it was released. Currently just passed 3 hrs on the first flight breaking her in, by visiting all of the U.K. airports available on Orbx.
This was my fav aircraft in both FSX and P3D, think I’ve purchased her 8 or 9 times now, as you needed to repurchase each time P3D did a version upgrade of their software. Best ga aircraft I’ve ever used, and the MSFS version is no different.
All other add on aircraft in my sim have just become hangar queens.
Loved my A2A Skylane. Very enjoyable gameplay with A2A quality planes.
They certainly have raised the bar for ALL developers! !! !!!
I still enjoy all my A2A aircraft in P3D. I am very happy to see them finally in MSFS. Hope the Skyhawk is the next addition to their fleet.

And setting the prop to “rich”. The whole thing is quite a poor effort if you ask me.

Leave the prop full. It adds drag and will help slow down

Looks like the Hotstart Challenger of the GA planes has landed in the hangar hm? ;) Normally I would say the Fenix of all GA planes, but worldwide only the Hotstart Challenger has all these super-complex turbine observation screens showing the pressure and temperature and energy of every compressor stage. And A2A is bringing similar technical details and data for this GA plane and therefore the Comanche gets the the Hotstart-quality-award.

it’s incredible and an absolute game changer. just magnificent! the only couple of things i’d change is that i feel the engine is a little quiet, and there’s no way remove the pilot for screenshots!

Just fyi the outer numbers on the air speed indicator are in mph. Caught me out first time. Read inner number for knots

Ok, so what was the hose hanging out of the oil access door before taxi and how did you make it go away? Ok, found the answer a little further down the comments. Looks like a buy for me. BTW I have a lot of time in older pipers and they did a great job capturing the look and feel. Great job A2A!!!!!!

Doing a fairly long flight from Lake Tahoe to Sedona for my first flight in it atm, VOR to VOR (with a side trip over Plutonium Valley to have a sticky beak) and it is going really well. Despite the wind smacking me around like a red headed step child, with 14-16 knot crosswind and gusts of 22-25 almost the whole way. It's been very bumpy.
Also, if you didn't know yet, you can click on the mic ports down to the left of the yoke and put on a headset which dampens the sound a bit, and turn on the noise cancelling with the button on the cable for even more sound dampening.
Edit: Ah, what vertical speed button did you press? This plane doesn't have VS with the AP.
you try to decent with 21inch manifold and Propeller pitch slow. Try 10inch manifold and propeller high speed.
You pulled that dipstick like 20 times and didn't wipe the oil off of it. If you contaminated your oil, Mister, that is on you! :)
I'm @ 1:20 and you say this is the pinnacle of study level GA while also saying you have zero experience with the plane in the sim. goodbye.

probably never flew the original accusim comanche for FSX that has basically the same features, but hey ! anything that comes for MSFS is "gRouNd bReaKing" and "nEveR seEn bEfoRe !". And let's not talk about other addons like the Hotstart TBM or the Challenger 650, which have even more features simulated ... most people don't know much outside of MSFS
that hose is the engine heater for cold weather/long storage. remove it in the controls tab...

I find it strange that this plane has a cigarette lighter. Gasoline is still flammable and the vapors would be all over your shirt after your walk around.
Not sure, maybe your AP weirdness was caused by trying to use VS which the aircraft is not equipped with (as far as I know). Regardless, that should not cause trim to glitch out.

Set your prop for landing!!!!
The A2A Comanche for MSFS will not fight tartar buildup below the gumline, however. I don't really see any add-on for MSFS accomplishing this before the 2024 version of the sim is released.
putting your Prop into fine mode in the circuit wil help slow you down. The prop will act like a airbrake.

I was fortunate. I had an eleven dollar credit from earlier purchases when flying P3D. So I got this for 38 bucks! Not bad . Very nice plane. Now looking forward to C182.

I think you kept swapping the main and aux fuel level while running both tanks at the same time, you’ll want to select left or right on the floor to switch tanks

4:13 Seen elsewhere there's an option for the PMS50-GTN750 and TDS-GTN750. Have you not got either of those installed ( thus they're not appearing) or is it livery dependent?

8:50 nothing funny at all about Nav light being connected to panel lights. No reason to turn either on on a bright and sunny day, binding them together is perfectly logical.
Guess I never thought of that.. I always turn my Nav lights on out if habit but yeah you're point makes perfect sense

Awesome plane, but in the exterior biew she kind sounds like a wasp. Maybe the real one does too, but from the videos I've seen it's supposed to have way more engine noise to it as well.
Anyway lovely video, really enjoyed it! I'm off to fly it again myself!
Looks just as awesome as the P3d version. Simply put, A2A make the best aircraft of any classification in flight simulation. Better than pmdg. Better then Fenix. Better than fslabs.
I wouldn’t compare a prop plane to a jetliner tbh. But in terms of system fidelity it is up there with the Fenix and fslabs.

HI OK Great video as usual . I updated my aircraft from A2 by downloading again but no updates apparent my trim handle is still spinning around did i download incorrectly any help would be great.
I'll test mine in the morning buddy. I deleted mine and reinstalled it lol. I work in IT so I never trust upgrades over old files lol
