2 things I noticed, 1. They were using re-usable straws- Excellent, it will good for the nature. 2. Using Araliya (Frangipani or Temple Tree- Plumaria acutifolia ) is used as a decoration/ garnish on the fruit platter. This, I think, is not a good practice as the sap of this plant is known to be toxic. Please refer any suitable person for further info.
Hey Johnny, head onwards to Posidon Diving School and and just before you will find a place called SIRINIVASA or Garden by the Sea, it is my ancestral house. The back garden opens onto the famous coral reef of Hikkaduwa. My cousin runs the place. I'm sure you will love it.

Jack fruit price, seems to be reasonable in your area. In Colombo city and surround areas 1/4 of the similar piece costs 100 Rs. But in Rural areas, big full Jack fruit can buy for less than 500 Rs

If I would be there now, I would go to the mountains (as last year same time ) because it's now the best time of the year to go there . No, of course not Ella 😕 or Nuwara eliya! Are you allowed to travel to other parts of the country (corona)? Why not leave the common tourists tracks and go for some adventure? To leave the tourists tracks can save you a lot of your budget. When I look that beach and sunset, All that I can think is that how i can survive a tsunami..
