I heard of people remembering that games looked incredibly awesome when they played them as children in their memories and I didn’t believe that until I saw this, kind of astonished
Yes and no. So the corkscrew (as it's called in the game files) does increase your speed, but it's not super useful for what I was doing here. Your car's base speed is low enough that you get a significant speed boost immediately from the missile. However at top speeds (with 10 power upgrades), it's too slow. I regularly cruise at 120+, whereas I've found that the corkscrew starts me at 80 or 90 and slowly increases. Now I have hit 190 with it on a long straight stretch, but then you run the risk of taking damage (which slows you down). And since it slows you down anyway when you hop off, it tends to be risky and not very helpful. But maybe that's just how it works for me.
@@steake Fingers crossed! I tried on some other website, back in highschool (4-5 years ago), and my PC got SLOW... tried Lego Racers 1 after a friend told me he still had the disc, but it was over in less than 2 hours. I so want to relive the 2nd game :D
I played this game before learning to read. Apparently it is easier when you can know the objective of the mini-games.
yeah I'm 18 now, I remember when I used to play this game during my childhood, this game has place in my heart fr
Casually driving through my childhood
It just feels dirty to watch this without making your own vehicles lol
always fun to see a childhood game being speedrun

Also for the arctic level I chose the sail vehicle, big mistake it made berg nearly impossible to beat😂
I just beat the game today, finally and I was using your strategy of only upgrading the engine power
Don't you go faster if you ride the drill item?
