This has a melancholic vibe to it, similar to post-war melancholy from Twisted Insurrection. And the image adds to that pain, loss and sorrow. At least until not even half-way through the song, where the tone changes to something akin to rebuilding, scheming, plotting. And hunger for revenge. I think.
This song, Hell March and Fogger were the 3 best songs in Red Alert imo. The game had an epic soundtrack and some of the best cut scenes ever seen in a video game.
Getting my tesla tanks, mammoths into an allied base with this song and mowing down the whole infantry infront of me was the best experience I ever had.
Ha you're speaking my language. Back when I was a kid I particularly associated this with Soviet Mission 11. This music plays as an Allied Cruiser is about to shell the base and I've to send out some subs to stop it. This music just had a strong tie to competing with the Allied Fleet to me in those days
It was a unique game, warzone. I'll give you that. I liked the campaign perhaps a bit too much after cheating. I was too focused on basebuilding and making everything look pretty XD

Max Moin grinding 7 hard ai with massed infantry and artillery as England was this for me
This isn't a "soundtrack". This is a masterpiece.
this is moment when you're out of money..and the cruiser is on its way

1:50 best part
Alot of tracks in Red Alert have the best part in the middle or near the end.
@@brucecamp4448 Aye, though the lead up really adds to their effectiveness.
2:51 reminds Doom
Glad i'm not the only one. Has a "Countdown to Death" vibe.

Best song on the entire Red Alert soundtrack.
Good bye Tanya...
(Salutes)
Alright, on to the next target
XD
She's still alive in Red Alert 2.
well RA 1 was leading to tiberian dawn and RA 2 was kind of it's own timeline
I wish they had the same actor in RA1 played on RA2, but i like them both :D
@@Fishy_Chameleon It sure is.

sounds perfect for cold war. tension between nuclear powers.
skinless brute seems more appropriate for if NATO and the Warsaw Pact actually went to war.
LOL, finally a rendition in stereo! :)
It wasn't on the official soundtrack, so this version must come from Frank Klepacki's website. Only stereo source for these tracks :)
Such an awesome intro
thank you frank
Looks like Dino Crisis sountrack

KGB GEFREITER Z.B.
sounds like something i'd hear from dragon ball z.

But I can hardly wait
Ooh to touch and to feel you mama
Oh I just can't keep away"

Man is this one great
This was an allies song right?
I think it's either an exclusive Soviet track or it was available for both factions.
It's definitely a Soviet song that's for sure. I remember hauling ass to this on the Soviet final mission.
Actually, it's soviet only. Don't count on allies only songs that aren't included in the music of c&c ra album.
@@danielgillespie5348 welp, at least absolutely everything is included in the remastered soundtrack.
At least soviet only songs that counts more than allied songs only not included on CD.
