Jahzz0 HAD to be holding right on that closing fair from Lima. No WAY Ken should be dying from that far out to that aerial even as a high a percent it got.
If the Bayo plays like Lima was playing, yeah, it’s not a fun matchup. But it’s not as bad as you’d think. The difference in weight and kill power plus Ken’s ability to focus through back air makes him really really hard to kill. Also, credit to Jayzz0 for how patiently he played. And his SDI was insanely good! Side note, I’m in no way knocking Lima for playing passively. That’s almost certainly the optimal strategy against brawlers. Love both players!
but like, that's not even a bayo thing, it's an issue with smash in general patient play is literally optimal. why challenge ken at 200% if making a mistake could result in you losing your lead?
Doesn't seem like he was saying it wasn't effective, he just doesn't like watching it. It's solid strategy, but yeah I don't think it's very fun to watch either. It's like how Kazuya can be a crazy effective character, but I absolutely hate watching him.
