Even if they wanted to give the head sculpt the more expressive larger eyes it should’ve been easy to keep the head size faithful to the artwork used on the package, don’t understand why the head sculpt came out as bulbis and oversized as it did
I actually LOVE the new head hahaha but I do agree that this lack of hands is an issue that needs to be addressed. It’s not that hard to give the right amount of hands, especially with their price hikes
Im pretty sure the big bulbous head is supposed to be based on Arthur Adams art, the guy who drew the comic covers for the Beyond storyline. But the art on the packaging is someone else's, so thats weird to not put the art on the packaging that you were trying to emulate
I do like this new suit that Ben Reilly but to me, I am very happy with the retro carded Sensational Spider-Man which I'm familiar with more and I do hope one day Hasbro can do an update 90s blue hoodie Ben Reilly Scarlet Spider, Overall, Great review on him Xcorpeo.
How is this acceptable? They have the molds for the hands missing, I'm sure including them would cost literal cents to Hasbro. I don't understand Hasbro sometimes
I'm considering buy this figure when discounted to swap feet with the cel-shaded walmart exclusive figure, would you say their colors are the same/close enough to not look weird?
the head is a bit to big on this figure and the eyes, but you can head swap it from the other Spidey figure and the rest of the figure looks good. i don't think the big head is a deal breaker since these figures of Spidey were made for head swapping. and hands swapping i recommend. buying this figure because it's the same body as the Spidey's we been getting without pins. before the price goes up
0:52 PS5 Spider-Man has the opposite set of hands. My guess is that they split the molds between the two figures. This head reminds me of Mangaverse Spider-Man.
The head is actually accurate to Patrick Gleasons art in the beyond arc. Wish I could add photo to my comment. Not having complete hands is frustrating
Thanks for pointing me to the artist. I didn't have an issue with the style and the large eyes are quite cool. My issue is that the head is a good 20% too big. I went to look at the art, and the eyes are appropriately huge on a head that's fairly proportionate to the body - but the head proportion on the figure is out of scale
@@ComicsyCafe it looks slightly better from the side. If you're cool with the head, then you'll enjoy the figure. He can borrow full sets of hands from other Spider-Man figures
At first I didn't like the head but from the different angles you've shown, it's actually pretty cool. I mean, you can't get any worse than the GI Joe classified Falcon head right? That thing was atrocious 😅
I think the head is proportioned well to the body frame. It's the round shaped head that maybe gives that impression, I don't see. He just has a round head, not everyone has the same head shape ya know. The pisser here is...LACK OF HAND ACCESSORIES! Come on Hasbro!
I don’t think the head looks to bad but the lack of hands is really getting annoying
Yea they’re tryna normalize it now and think we’re just not gonna notice or care
I mean… they are kinda right tho. We don’t seem to care.
@@starlord157 everyone complains but still buy the figure

Canceling my pre order on that spiderman. I told folks it wasnt like the artwork. So no capcom version here. Thanks fpr the review
The head is literally a new sculpture based on the comic version of the suit, at least do your research before posting something
Ayo I got here early
All that empty space in the package 😑
An appreciated, insightful review of B.R. Spider-Man and his meager accessories!
I'm picking this dude up for a stop motion fight. He's gonna be fighting the Hulk I think. Great review hope your well 🙏

where did you find him this early

I mean, that head could work with a more Bagley Ultimate Spider-Man. Or maybe David Lafuente because of its roundness
I miss playing with toys
Dude you still can no one's stopping you my friend. I do stop motion fights with my figures and it's super fun to watch back. Hope this helps my dude.
If the jead looked like the art on the package this would look a lot better. The lack of hands is shameful. They have the moulds.😐

It does right, with the funny big head. Yeah maybe they did split the molds, but what's the point in that?
@@xcorpeo I think the point was to save on production cost and be cheap by not making two pairs of hands for each figure.
Head its ok, its not oversized in my opinion.
He looks good IN the box, but our of it he looks goofy af
That would be awesome to have
I though this was on the amazing fantasy mold

Thanks for the sub!

Falcon and Cover Girl both 😂😂
Everyone hates the head sculpt of this figure but I really think this head sculpt is cool.
He does have a balloon head lol!
Yep and I really dislike it
