They definitely need a logo, or at the very least, size down that font by quite a bit! Love the Aqua Terra. Who do you think makes the best Aqua Terra homage?
Yeah at the very least. This is the best one I've reviewed... But the only other one I've reviewed is the Corgeut. ruclips.net/video/Ia0UDjR1OhQ/видео.html
Totally agree,a Logo would be so much better. I think it's the size of the logo and how bold it is, berny is right in your face and he loves it! Puts me off every time. Shame cos they are good value
Imagine if your name was actually Berny - people might think you a little odd. Berny have actually started doing some customization options on some of their watches where you could add your own logo if you buy from their website.
Those are two good looking watches. Berny are definitely making some quality watches. I wonder if they can be the brand San Martin is? They definitely are headed in the right direction. Good stuff. Cheers!
I like the second watch in the review. However I would like it more if it was a no date watch. Many rubber straps are way too long with a lot of overlap so its good to see a slightly shorter rubber strap.
Nice to see Miyota making the hacking 8000 series available for other brands. Citizen and Bulova have had hacking 8000 series movements for a few years now.
I’m liking a lot that Berny have to offer. These two are very nice, as is the ‘railway’ style watch they do. I just can’t see past the name though. They definitely need to replace it with a logo. I’m (just) old enough to remember the Golden Shot on tv and the famous Bob Monkhouse line, ‘Bernie the bolt’. Can’t help think of that every time I see a Berny. Please Berny, change your name or replace it with a logo. I think you’d get many more customers.
Yeah they are doing some really nice pieces lately. I'm sure a lot more people would buy them if they changed the name or at least used a logo instead.
Both look great, but I’m more impressed with the diver (2nd watch). It’s got a nice shimmer to it, and I love the rubber strap fitted to the case. Great dial color too.
I really like the first one, because I love the original one 😁. But it's too chunky for my wrist. 39mm (and thinner) would be perfect. Thanks for the video, James.
I'm not sure, as I've not tried that one out. But another viewer said that the Phylida has the exact same unusual smooth part of the crown as this one. So they think it might be the same watch basically.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR the second 1 is really nice I really like just bought a Timex expedition scout from Amazon and picked it up for £35, 2 weeks ago with Indiglo really nice watch that may be a good review piece for you if you keep an eye on Amazon there reducing stuff all the time and there's a site you probably know it hotukdeals which I use as people post deals there back to Berny they make some great watches and there customer service i find fantastic.
@@jasonbostock408 Nice. I might check out some watches from Amazon at some point. Yeah I've heard of and used HotUKDeals before. I actually used to post on their fairly regularly at one point.
Good to see you've cut off the usual intro for this one , you never seem that comfortable on screen ( neither would I frankly ) . Nice looking watches, but I can't wear a watch with Berny on it .
It's definitely my least favourite part. My Social Anxiety kicks in, even though I'm on my own when filming, but the thought of people looking and judging me when the video is released is enough I guess 😳
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR yeah mate I'd be exactly the same , why put yourself through it , plenty of fine watch reviewers on here who are just a voice and a pair of hands . More importantly where the F is Trent !

@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR This one looks very similar to the Phylida. It even has the same slippery looking crown! lol I wonder if they are related?
That is very odd. It's not something I'd expect to be similar on watches that aren't related.
These compressor divers are SOOOOO much nicer than the old version.
I completely agree.

Yeah I hate it when he gets right in my face too 😆

Berny have actually started doing some customization options on some of their watches where you could add your own logo if you buy from their website.
That would be weird 😆
That's good they've started to offer that.

I don't see them going for that segment. I think they'll stick to more affordable watches instead. Around the Pagani Design level I'm thinking.
I like the second watch in the review. However I would like it more if it was a no date watch. Many rubber straps are way too long with a lot of overlap so its good to see a slightly shorter rubber strap.
That's true actually. Good point.
Thanks for providing some nice footage.
Thanks for watching 👍

It is nice. The biggest improvement for me with this movement though, is the much reduced rotor noise.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR Yes, my Bulova Hack and Devil Diver are both much quieter than the usual Miyota 8000 series movements.

Who is Berny?
Definitely. Like I said in the reviews, a lot of it could be sorted out by using a logo instead I think.
It’s a pretty decent offer, one more for the groaning shopping cart…
Which one of the two have you added then?
Name, logo and branding is a disaster!
It could definitely use some work.
