I've had so many of those type of "rollback" crown issues, on so many different watches over the years, that I just naturally started reverse seating all of my crowns, before attempting to screw them down. I figure it's better than damaging the threads. My only real dislike about this model, is the branding. Which is kind of rare for me. Still loving this RM001. Wearing it as we speak. Hope all's well, Steve. Please keep up the great work. Cheers.....
Thanks for the review! I love your succinct attention to detail. I don't see an updated AR-coated version anywhere. When you spoke with Berny, did they give you an ETA on this next generation of Sapphire glass?
@@EscapeWheel Thanks for the quick reply. I'll comb through Berny's inventory and update if I track down a different model; possible it's released under a different name
I agree when it comes to the size. Pagani has the same problem, most of their watches are around 40mm and in my opinion, watches with oyster cases should not be bigger than 38. Thats why I opted for Pagani PD1716 because that one is 37. I simply cant stand big oyster style cases.
Very nice looking watch. My gripes are the big Berny name on the dial, not a fan at all. Use the Berny logo or make it sterile. Also, I don't like the polishing of the center links, they are definitely easy to scratch. I would prefer nice brushed links. The size and dimensions are fine for me. No AR is a pity. But overall, still a great looking watch and a great review.
Lost me at 41mm that's all dial. If they made a 38mm with a more delicate bracelet I might be quite into it. Yeah. To though also.... Maybe that new hacking 60 hour power reserve miyota. Also pretty illegible because of lack of AR. I prefer much subtler sunbursts as well..... Mmm. Thanks for the review. 🎶
Phylida makes this as 41mm, Corgeut makes this as 41mm, Pagani Design i think as a 42mm, i believe Bliger are too making Aquaterra homages now, same size as the other ones... Talk about a missed opportunity
omg i would buy a 38mm in a heartbeat! as it stands this watch is just way to big for me. Looks amazing though. Jealous of those who have larger wrists.
not a bad looking watch, shame its got a "no buy, im cheap, chinese and tacky" sized "fashion" logo. its the same mistake all these small chinese brands make over and over again.
I agree, don't understand why no Chinese brand have done a 38mm of this aqua terra. And make it slimmer, 12mm would be great, let's hope San Martin put their nose on this one, now they start looking into omega and longines territory
Berny just needs to come up with a cool B logo and that would really set off their watches. The name Berny just doesn't do it for me. No offense to any and all those whos' name is Berny.
Steve, you are far too generous on this watch. I had one and sent it back. It is, without doubt, the worse watch I have ever bought. Too heavy and chunky, terrible bracelet, and the WORSE crystal ever on any watch I've owned. The watch was unreadable in almost all conditions. This IS a deal breaker, not almost a deal breaker. I don't know how you can call it a nice watch. Berny might be good to deal with, but a bad watch is just a bad watch.
I definitely highlite my concerns with the thickness and size but that's all subjective. Crystal is bad, but again, it's somewhat subjective. Some are willing to live with the reflections of withh the cool distortions and light play. And they have upgraded the crystal since the review with AR. Bracelet seemed fine for me, nothing special, but nothing horrible either. On par with Corgeut and Phylida bracelets for their aquaterra. It's not their best watch by far, I'd definitely get the Phylida over this unless lume is super important to you.
You are right. With 38mm they could have sell a lot more. But i would replace their name with their logo that is pretty cool.

Thanks man! The BERNY brand really hasn't grabbed people. Always an issue for people
Thank you for the video.. this watch ? homage Omega Aqua Terra ?…

They made it sound like they were already out 🤷

Beautiful mirror 😂. Size is ok for me, just put AR coating and maybe their logo smaller and I could consider it

Waaaaaay too big. Make this 36-38mm and you have a winner
And with just the logo. I can not take the name serious 😂
_I've received this watch for Free.._
I love this part most of all 😁😁👍
Can u review the pagani day date pls?
Got the blue and gold coming up next. 👍. Need a few days but they arrived yesterday
They need yo re-release this with a 36 mm case, 10.8 mm thickness.
I will wait for a 38.5 or 39mm version

That crown is hideous, but 20ATM is a nice touch
Nice review. I agree it needs to be 36-38mm and thinner.
Thank you. I think we are all waiting for that watch to be made. I'd be first in line
Should be 38mm x 9,9mm tall
For the price, I think we can't complain much. You are not paying for a Swiss watch!

Should be arriving next week 👍

They have a decent logo as seen on the railway watch I recently reviewed. They need to use it more.
@@EscapeWheel Agreed!!!
is that a dial or just a brand logo? lol
Their name is way too big. It's all too big.. 13.8, no way would I buy that.
For this price, stop complaining.

They really need to work on that hideous 𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗬 logo.
