Hey everyone! Welcome to another video and today I'm back in Zeepkist to check out an amazing community-built track! I typically like to build my own tracks on the channel but this was just too good to pass up and I felt like these guys deserved some recognition for all the hard working hours they put into this project! I am convinced this is the most extensive and complex city track that exists in Zeepkist right now and everyone should check it out! It has a total of 5000 upscaled pieces which makes it even cooler so make sure to check out the video and let us know in the comments below what you thought of it!

In the Zeepkist level editor, you get access to the same tools the developer uses to create official tracks!
Pick from over 1000 different level editor blocks! (At time of writing), including dynamic physics props and even NPC cats!
Use the paint tool to paint levels however which way you want, pick from multiple skyboxes in the settings menu, and use the tree gun to quickly decorate your levels with lush greenery and trees!
Zeepkist has online multiplayer support for rooms of up to 16 players at a time!
Compete to set the best times possible, unlock wild achievements, and show off your swag hats and zeepkists to your friends!
Zeepkist is currently in Early Access, and actively being developed! Expect new features, content, and other updates to roll out over time!
What actually makes this impressive is that there is no group selection tool as of yet. That means a lot of time you have to spend every time you make a small mistake after moving a lot of pieces or if you decide something doesn't look good in a place. Also, the map's performance should get even better after the next update, so even people with potato PCs should be able to run it.
Luckely with plugins we did manage to have a box select that helped out a ton. That being said we still had to struggle a ton xD
There is a mod that allows you to select a group of objects by dragging a box.
@@ls_i8114 Wish I knew that in the past, when I was making BeatKist map (BeatSaber in ZeepKist). Not having group select whenever I decided I wanted to change a big part of the track or found out something was slightly off (it's a 1:1 recreation, or at least as close as I could get) was a massive pain, so I only released a demo to show off the concept in the hopes that minigame-style tracks like that may become more popular (which it doesn't seem like they'll be, as only 7 people played the track). Still, even with the use of mods, what you guys did is mighty impressive, so hats off to you, as I know how much time it must've taken. I've got 129 hours in the game, 128 of which I spent in the map editor. Much pain was had, so I can't imagine how painful it must've been for you.

Not sure if Kosmo saying "passing this guy" counts as being mentioned in the video but the map is sooo gooood. Creators of the track did some amazing work and im so glad Kosmo showcased it.

Same. I saw Kan's mini golf track earlier, then when i saw the thumbnail for this i was like "that's one hell of a golf track"

Feel kind of bad that the photo mode is unable to place me into the photo...
Since this map not just good for racing...
but also may be good for photo shooting for my next desktop wallpaper...

@@Nivoldoog not but we're looking at continuing the series into the sewers. We may come back and tweak bits for v10, fill in some gaps

You missed it in chat, but the first obstacle they talk about is the turn, Ls_i said to go either 140-150, or drift the turn

Totally insane that they build this huge city and it's all unused for the track itself. So much dedication to the eye candy part lol.
I hope they release multiple tracks in the same city for more exploration!

The story behind this city is ` one day , mayor is walking down the streets and saw a perfect racing line , so he ordered everyone to evacuate immediately so that one day they could race across the city but unfortunately mayor forgot the main purpose of evaluation and time flies. After many years his grandsons found this lost city and hidden graffiti and found out that the city is meant for racing! Plot twists - grandpa is still alive ! he has been kidnapped by aliens from ursa minor constellation to build zeepkits tracks for them , his name is ` Kosmo ‘. the end

You should try makeshift mountains 2. It’s pretty difficult and has around 6k parts.

Wow this track is awesome! I would want to drive around the map just to explore and take in the details.
I'm wondering if there are some more murals that perhaps tell the story of the city's ruin. Or maybe the murals show a secret "cheese". The one mural showed the Big Dipper consolation over the city and if you looked at the sky the Big Dipper is actually there.
So maybe there is a connection? Either way its another great detail.

Knowing from my experience of making pretty tracks with tons of pieces, there would be a lot of swearing, so that's probably why >:P Thankfully my PC is a potato, so I never went *this* crazy with any of my maps.
We aimed to finish this track before contacting creators. Kosmo was nice enough to reply and he was very positive about it all. We're already happh he was down to showcase it all. We'll be working on the next part of this map. So maybe in the end?
This is the kind of map, that I shall be never able to recreate a similar map for my entire life...

3082nd view. Sorry I couldn’t watch the vid right when it came out Kosmo! I have a theme idea: Space. You might be able to do something with the fan to keep you level between 2, like microgravity. ( One fan on top pushing you down and one fan on the bottom pushing you up.) I sadly don’t have zeepkist so I can’t try the idea, but maybe you could make an interesting track with that.
Kosmo you can wall ride over that grate also that first turn full send it a little early and you don't need to slow down

Nobody realized there was a wall ride on the grating section it seems.
The wallride is slower than going through the grates.
@@hydro6252 Considering the fact they kept wiping out on the grating and coming out too fast on the turn I get the feeling that's not the worst option.
