- A 128th Birthday tribute commemorating the only known voice recording of Rudolph Valentino singing Kashmiri Love Song and El Relicario 100 years ago! Film clips from THE SHEIK (1921), and BLOOD AND SAND (1922).
Considering the way music was recorded in those days.😢
It is amazing how good Rudy sounded.

I’ve heard a quick clip of him talking and he definitely would have survived the coming of sound and it would have catapulted him even higher. I could see in his eyes that he has cried a lot in life the sadness comes through. His life seems to have been struggle after struggle while acting like he’s got everything. His light remains bright because his talent is timeless. He’s not just a posture but when I watch his acting I could see instantly his ability. So smooth and expressive masculine and feminine perfectly balanced. It’s not only great acting but a demonstration on how to behave.
Gorgeous and Timeless, like the man himself.

Well, guess what? My grandmother on my father's side was also born on May 6...in 1872! Happy Birthday Rudy and Grandma Rosina! I just put up my tribute to him and her, a short and a community post...It's so funny, now that I have her official birth certificate it dawned on me they were born on the same day. And, they sort of look alike..the nose!!! Always a pleasure to hear Rudy singing and MySilentBoyfriend always puts together a great video!!!!!

@@rudolphvalentinoconnection8298 The shape of the nose when viewed from the front is very difficult to understand. Your grandmother most likely had a slightly longer and aquiline nose.

Considering modern tech in the recording field it's a miracle that no one expert has taken these recordings of Valentino and improved them sonically and digitally, removing the casteners and improving both the sound in general and his voice in particular. I guesd no one cares. A pity, since there are no other recordings of his radio interviews, which he must have had to do promo for his films. Wow! Somebody in the know pay heed to what I comment here, please! 🙏🏹♐

I am sure he would have done very well in the talkies as he a nice quality to his voice and he had only a slight Italian Accent.
He spoke several languages.
So he was not just beautiful but he was smart as well.
