If you want to step back in time just go to the lincolnshire coast its a throw back to the 1960s nothing has changed you only have to look at old photos of the resort we went to skeggness 3 years ago for the day it was terrible arccades full of slot machines an accrid smell in the air of hot dogs fish and chips donuts and anyting deep fried theres a fish and chip shop thats more like a night blasting loud music every where half a pier that does not reach the sea its the pits
I don't mind a tacky seaside town once in a while, candy floss and mushy peas lol. But there's other places you can go near Skegness, like Anderby Creek, Gibraltar Point etc where it's much quieter
