- Part 2 of my visit to Chapel St. Leonards, Golden Palms, and Trunch Lane, including drone footage showcasing all the caravans across the sites. Let’s explore for any unique features along the way.
Although I only went to chapel twice, happy days and the supermarket were incredible and I will always remember the nights there.

I spent my childhood at Chapel, every weekend. Then in late 70s I was a bingo caller at "Happy Days" in the summer while waiting for collage. So many happy memories. My dads friend (Eric) was always winning at the fishing lake in Chapel, had his photo up for many years. My dad had a touring caravan but Aunts n others had static ones.
I have many happy childhood memories of chapel st Leonard's. Great video.

My first childhood holiday I can remember was at chaple Robin Hood site I think it was called.Still visit Chapel now love the chips from Trunch Lane.Another interesting watch mate.👌

We stayed on Happy days and golden palm . We visit Trunch Lane every time we visit. The swimming pool my mad husband & daughter was in the pool in the freezing cold 1 year.

i cant wait to go to golden palm resort in july ,one place you really need to visit next time youre there is ACE BAKES in Chapel its a lovely little tea room /cafe that does the best afternoon teas .

can recommend the chinese , chippy ,and pizza shops , the supermarket isnt badly priced the gift shop is great and as for the amusments you can spend ages in there and at night the club is a great place to go , theres kids entertainment , turns , and bingo .
Next time you are at Arches pub, try the food from the guy in the trailer, his food is amazing, especially if he is doing his Caribbean Curry
I been going Chapel for over 25 Yrears and when i was little The Golden Plam was called Robin Hood Leisure Park and The Club Tropicana was called the Maid Marion Club and Arcade was called little Johns the Where Jws is now before they built the Maid Marion pub in 2005 it use just have Caravans for sales and Pizza and fish and chip shop use be at side of Arcade and with Chinese and before they made the Arcade bigger in 2005 they move the fish and chip shop across the road with Chinese and Where fish and chip shop is now that use to be a cafe and and where little café is now on side of arcade now that where Chinese use to me until 2005 i think it became cafe in 2015 whre the crazy golf is now what use be little fun fair until end of 2009 it use have caterpillar coaster from 2004 until 2009 before the caterpillar coaster they house ride until end of 2003 season they it got move to fantasy island it was outside until 2017 when moved it inside and theme it to jungle ride the caterpillar coaster was at fantasy island for 2003 season allso on fun fair they have little snails ride and carousel and clown ride until 2006 season then it was bee ride and swimming pool use be outside until 2001 they the build in door swimming pool in winter of 2001 and open in 2002 the Maid Marion Club have make over in 2001 and then in 2004 it because the club Tropicana stage was gone up a little bit but they keep the Famous Robin Hood curtains until end of 2023 season they use open and close before and after the acts they use open with Chris Merry Band show turned and closed with bingo song before the bing they stop useing curtains in 2018 season and they tock then down now in 2005 they did more work to club now sound box and the next to sweetie bar thry use have little kids Arcade then become the food bar and until the end of the 2015 season the kids play area got a make over as well the sweetie bar was their until end of 2014 season when they nock it down to build bigger play area lot have changed in 20 Yrears at Golden Palm 🌴

Sad times! Mainly the older generation go to Chapel. Also known as the Chapel of rest.
People love the bingo in Tropicana.
Is the boating lake still in existence in Chapel. Had some good times as a kid in the late 60's and in the Happy Days club.
