The drums are played by Steven Adler. I hate how he never gets credit for this track. I wondered if it was him right from the first time I heard the track, because that cowbell sound. Haha. I mean, it's all over "Appetite for Destrction." Also, you can hear that the drums are just SLIGHTLY behind (not off) of the beat just like almost all the tracks from Appetite were.
A little digging when this album came out confirmed my theory. :D

Avril Lavigne tried to do this with the track that was on suicide squad. Doesn't compare, not by a long shot. I've always liked Fergie's range.
