I don't know if I underestimated GenG, but even though their comps are different, their composition is very easy to read because of their flash-specific tactics. I think it's time to make some changes. Qck also needs time now. He had some of his best mechanical moments and some of his worst moments where threw a complete round. At this point, think it was obvious that He was not used to using an international LAN.
That aside, I think GenG is still severely underrated by people. I think the T3xture & Kalon duo, who showed threatening stats even in the Pacific, have proven that they are a threat and can be used in the world tournament as well. Their issue was that their retakes and coordination on the defensive side seemed a little unstable. I think if they fix this they really have a chance to win this Madrid.
that's what I've noticed as well, qck1's mechanical movement and aim is godly however his decision-making costs Loud severely.

Gen.G were better in so many ways against LOUD, their weakness are asian teams(lost to EDG, PRX, GEN.G)

I still don’t belive in QCK, he misses a lot of easy shots and i think the main reason loud picked him up was bc he has a good duelist pool, but he is only decent at those duelists. Geng played good i mean on ascent they didn’t do anything crazy it’s just hard to win when karon,meteor and texture are getting a 3k every round. Loud had good ideas and geng fell into all of them but always had a savior to one tap everyone. I think Geng will struggle against a team like sentinels who won’t peak a lot and are less aggressive bc GenG doesn’t do anything crazy they just win aim duels. No shade to geng but karon won them ascent, if there core keeps us the consistency with aim then nvm
I've watched every games of GENG ad I'm telling you it's not just who's winning the aim duels, GENG as a team are in sync, given that they have firepower it's safe to say they're legit. Just look at their match against DRX, ZETA those teams are very discipline and don't play too aggressive. Munchkin calling is superb which is being overshadowed by these crazy plays.
@@theluckyone_1 they are great i agree with you, just they rely on there firepower a little more then i would like. They remind me of TH who rely on miniboo and reins a lot. They are a newer team so it’s fine but if they don’t make up more in depth stuff i feel like there get wiped as the season goes on

Geng does not rely on firepower only lol. If that was the case, even Sen does the same with Zekken and Tenz( remember Tenz won them so many rounds against NRG single handedly). Till now KC seemed like a most strategic team although even they needed marteen to pop off against FNC.

This was indeed an upset but hopefully GenG can be consistent, it was hard watching Icebox because they threw alot of winnable rounds. In the case of Loud, it's so surprising to see them struggle especially with an IGL like Saadhak, somehow aspas was really the firepower they needed. Qck needs to step up.

The problem with GenG on Breeze is they didn't have no info.. Other than Sova. They was scrambling to find it and ended up costing them. And it was the same for Loud on Accent.. No sentinel really hurt them. Double initiator was a bad move. Ggs to GENG though..
ngl im kinda disappointed in loud, it feels like they aren't playing as good as usual. also like a lot of others have been saying, qck needs to step up. he isnt playing too badly but bad enough to make a difference. also he overheats and tries to make hero plays sometimes when its unnecessary which costs them rounds

Cope, no team intentionally loses matches especially after destroying a team in the previous map. This is their adaptation to people figuring out the weaknesses in their Pheonix comp and it didn't work because GenG were just better

The moment loud picked yoru, they lost the match, picking pheonix/ jett would have better, I understand loud picked yoru to counter cypher, but luck did not favour them, and Cauanzin should have picked sova/ fade instead of breach, as they did not have any agent for giving away enemies' position. :)
People already figured out the weakness in their Pheonix comp so they couldn't have played that. I mean even EG beat their pheonix comp on Ascent

@@ZayedUnNoorShabab I doubt it would have changed much in this case. They still wouldn't have had any info and they wouldn't be able to Op either. GenG's attack exploited their weakness perfectly and a simple agent change wouldn't have affected this scoreline. If anything, it might have been even worse because GenG probably looked at the Pheonix comp anyways and were prepared
