@@TheGalwayjoyce Its a dope song, with a cool beat. But if we are being real, Red and Meth carry on that DJ Premier beat. lol The song would have been just as dope if not more so with Fred off it. Still worth a listen though, because the rest of it is so good. Fred is just horrible when it comes to lyricism, and it shows being next to two elite rappers like Red and Meth. lol Limp Bizkit are that their best with catchy hooks/choruses and high energy. Lyrics...not so much. lol

This was the last video recorded on top of the Twin Towers before they were blown down. They even got a letter on Sept 10th, 2001 from the Twin Towers congratulating them on the success they had, they had won a MTV award on Sept 6th, 2001 for this video.

i remember when this came out all the girls, including me, wished we could be one of the backup dancers doing the "rollin rollin" chorus, lol.. and youre right.. Fred Durst (the singer) had a weird huge spike when they first came out.. then for a while they became kinda irrelavant, but now people hearing their top songs again after such a long time the nostalgia kicks hard. man, and the fact they did this on top of the twin towers.. insane. now you gotta do "nookie" which was their initial break out hit. xo

This was middle school and high school for me- for me they were the first to bring different styles together that had everyone trying to get the non censored cds- they were the first for me in this era- some still hate on them- but I still love them for what they are and how they can still get me hyped. Locally here in Hawaii being a massive mixed plate of cultures and music, even have our own music genres here, LB was huge.

They didn't play this video for a while because it was filmed on top of the World Trade Center not long before they fell. I'm a huge Eminem fan, and I still love Limp Bizkit. If a song is fire, it's fire, but beefs between artists have never stopped me from listening to others.

Seen them like 2 or 3 years ago in a smaller venue. Shit was packed wall to wall and one of the best shows I’ve been to. They still tear it up. Pretty sure I caught COVID there 😂 but it was worth it.

But it’s not like they dissed his kid or did anything awful to him i think he was just pissed off, on drugs and in that era of “fuck you” to people. Limp Bizket first 2 albums are dope after that its whatever, the songs you listened to are off the 2nd album chocolate starfish and hotdog flavored water. the 90s they were #1 in album sells for rock. The genra is nu-metal which is hip hop infused metal. Nu-metal included other rock you liked like system of a down, rage against the machine, etc. limp bizket has a song with method man that is good.

Agree with you. Some people get in that cringe mode of "it's cool to hate something cause it's popular". Just recognize what it is and what it isn't. They made some bangers, some just overall dope songs, and some duds. like anyone. People try to compare him to Eminem cause Fred sort of raps some. You can't compare them. They are different things. I like Limp Bizkit, I like Eminem for different reasons. I like Aesop Rock, NAS, TechN9ne, etc..but also enjoy some less technical stuff lyric wise like LB( but Wes Boreland added that technicality always ) . It's just different.
