Just back from TdP, Patagonia (Chile) and am dreaming of the next SA adventure! Enjoyed this and the Huayhuash video - looking forward to some of the others you've posted! - What's your favorite SA adventure?
Excellent video! Ausangate is one of our favorite treks, and you captured it so well, giving an uncensored view of the highs and lows. Thanks for the vivid memories! It looks like we had the same muleteer when we did the trek. He always had a big smile on his face and made camp a more lively place, especially after a long day on the trail 😁. Congrats on completing the trek and battling through the altitude sickness! Looking forward to the next adventure. Where are you headed next?
Oh yes! His name is Abelino, maybe the same person, he was very kind :) I would like to do tour du mont blanc and dolomites next year, how about you guys?
That would be hard to deal with the lack of oxygen, you did well considering your not conditioned to those altitudes, beautiful scenery to, thank you for sharing this amazing adventure and stay safe 🙏🏻
Wow, This trek through Peru’s mountains was truly inspiring! Especially thee way you embraced the challenges and still managed to capture the raw beauty of the journey n carry on is amazing. It’s clear how much heart you put into these adventures, and it’s so motivating to see :) As a traveler and guide from Nepal 🇳🇵 I’d love to invite you to explore the Shey Phoksundo Dolpo Trek one day. It’s one of the most remote and stunning places in Nepal, and I think you’d truly connect with its untouched beauty. Keep sharing your stories , They’re making a real impact🫶❣️🙏
Beautiful video, thank you for sharing. I am doing this trek in the coming May. Feeling excited and scared of the altitude. Would like to ask, how many days was spent acclimatizing in high altitude before you did the trek?
I was in Cusco for 10 days before and did few shorter hikes before this. I think our 2nd day hike was a bit intense, see if you can find an itinerary that's more gradual.
Hi Fawn, Did you do the salkantay and ausangate back to back on the same trip or did you rest for a bit in cusco? I am thinking of doing both next year with a couple of days in between but not sure if it's feasible
Love your videos, xīn kǔ le! You’re my favorite vlog channel on RUclips

@@travelwithfawn - thank you! Your videos have me drooling for my next visit - please keep sharing!
Beautifully documented, thanks for sharing the highs and lows!

@22:30, the life you have chosen - adventure
Great job. You are a real trooper. I loved this video and your story. I wonder what you would do differently next time, to avoid getting sick?
I think to eat more simple carbs instead of meat and veg, also a more gentle itinerary
Your camera work was short of incredible, wow wow and wow!!!
