Idk about Skrag, but ogres are very strong faction... You have Ogre Bulls, they are by far the best early game unit in the game with the only exception being zombies. Blob them and you crush any army in early game up to mid game and even late game. You can even take on multiple armies if you know what you are doing. As for economy you make shit ton of money from ports and sacking settlements. Never recruit other units beside Ogre Bulls, Gnoblar Trapers and Skrap Launchers and your eco will be fine if not very good. You should be able to run 2 or more armies with just one province if those armies are ogre bulls. The only problem for me are single entities (large or small) with a lot of stats such as Grimgor, or Kholek, everything else will die to Ogrebulls even Black orcs, Chosen and dwarfs. Once you get your Hunters on Stonehorns, they can win battles on their own. Ogres are definetely not weak and they have unlimited economy, you can just sit in one province and make unlimited income from it, plus your armies cost 3k gold maybe less, depends on supply lines. I dont have any tips for Skrag as I havent played him, beside using Gorgers once they become available since they should be cheper and better than Ogre Bulls. Cheers.
Ye i started a skrag campaign in my goal to get all achievements and jesus i didnt start steamrolling until turn 90… I also suck so that doesnt help. But i just unlocked the big cannons and ranged stonehorns so yeehaw
Haven't played ogres much yet even though I play them in TT. I got wiped out pretty early as Skragg and Greasus, not sure their campaign style is to my liking... They're weak and probably even worse... Boring.
Dude, thank you. I just started my first Skrag campaign. I love your videos

Sounds like ogres are like dwarves. It pays of to play slow at the start and just build up one or two provinces before you decide to start going crazy

That battle is the worst scenario ever for them...
For the price it's hard to find a worse unit in the game.
I wait a rework to enjoy it
Are you still waiting?
