This is the ultimate female performer since the big band era. This beautiful young Lady has a voice that will never be equaled by anyone!!!!! She is, was, and always will be the greatest female singer in the past half century. Love you Miss Francis and God Bless and keep you around a little bit longer so we can still enjoy your talent!!!! LO

I am so glad you are still alive, Connie.... “At about 11 a.m. ET on Thursday (January 01, 2015), our beloved singer Connie Francis passed away. Connie Francis was born on December 12, 1938 in Newark. She will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”
News of singer Connie Francis’s death spread quickly earlier this week causing concern among fans across the world. However the February 2015 report has now been confirmed as a complete hoax and just the latest in a string of fake celebrity death reports. Thankfully, the singer best known for her hit song Who's Sorry Now? is alive and well. UPDATE 01/03/2015 : This story seems to be false. (read more)
I suspect Connie hasn't been inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame due to her support of the Vietnam War. If you wrote or sang a single anti-war hit, burnt out or died of a drug overdose, your in; but, for performing for the troops your out. If you were to put 100 people in a room, played Connie's version of God Bless America, she'd be in before the song ended with a standing "O". Dick Clark said it best, "If Elvis is the King of R&R, Connie Francis is surely the Queen of R&R". Works for me.
für mich ist und bleibt connie francis die beste sängerin der welt.ich schwärme schon seit meinem 6.lebensjahr von ihr und wünsche ihr noch viele schöne jahre
Great performance, truly a legend in her time. No lip synching with this perfrormer. Chubby Checker and Earth, Wind and Fire were out in the audience. ANyone noticed?
Grande e excelente cantora norte-americana, não era muito aceita por ser de orígem latina ; fez muito sucesso aqui no Brasil cantando em espanhol, vivi essa época romântica e feliz.Graças a Deus !
Our favorite around these parts. My Pop almost fainted when he saw her marching through our town square. "Oh, there's the little sweetheart". The other Dad had a favorite - something about being sorry now. Great stuff, There it goes. Tried posting it in ignorance of the law and got in trouble again.
She is the greatest singer ever, and do I agree with everyone here who says she belongs in the Rock n Roll HOF. But, seriously...does anyone really think Connie Francis is losing sleep over this?!? It`s the last thing she needs to "validate" her incomparable career.
Love you Connie and what a shame she is not yet in the Rock and Roll hall of Fame,,shame shame on the foundation for not inducting her yet,,get off your duffs and get this much desereved talented lady in there..
Connie is simply the Best, i'm so damn glad we finelly have a new one in Idele, real talent with a voice and style like Miss Connie Francis that only comes along once in a lifetime !!
In the audience it looks like Maurice White of Earth, Wind and Fire, Charlie Daniels, and Teddy Pendergrass. Connie is beautiful and sounds great. What a voice. She was the Britney of her day in terms of popularity. But Connie had a real voice and was so classy.
WHY ISN'T CONNIE IN THE ROCK & ROLL OF FAME!!!!!!!! SHE WAS THE BIGGEST SINGER IN THE FIFTIES/SIXTIES!! COME ON PEOPLE.....SOMEONE NEEDS TO NOMINATE HER!!!!!

I went to see Connie and was so let down that she crammed some of her great hits into a quick medley (like this). I guess she is sick of singing them but, honestly, these hits are what we want to hear. So many artists do this. Martha Reeves for example sung a few lines from "Dancing in the Streets" when I saw her. Sorry, gals and guys but your new stuff is less interesting. Sing your old favorites!
Ms Frances, I have been a fan of yours since Where The Boys Are.long time. lol Know what happened in Vegas. Hate the hell out of it. As a man that s not afaird of other people or their opinions. By that I mean, I don t give a damn. They re not paying my car payment, ll Get my point? I would be so proud to have you on my arm. Anywhere, anytime. Thak you for being you

Brilliant! They don't make them like Connie anymore.
Having an amazing singing voice like Connie`s is one thing...but, it should be illegal to have this much charisma and on-stage magnetism!!!
Connie is one of my favorite female singers. I'm thinking the last time I saw her was on the Statler Brothers Show. I love this video. Thank you.
Connie sings from her heart. Like no other can. Connie we love you .

Correction. This one was not lip synced. It was the 1978 performance on AB where she wore the red dress that was lip synced. Not this one.
@Lampshade51 Connie supported and supports the troops. The Vietnan vets have never forgotten her.
