What I loved about this cover was how preYdator adapted the track to their voices. They made the track their own, while keeping the same feel. The little touches like Bae's low voiced growl, the hard edge to Moomers soft voice that lends some danger to her lines, and the overall complementary feel they both have. Props to the production team too for the mix that really helped both talents harmonise perfectly. I enjoyed this. I look forward to what this new EN unit covers next. What a banger. Two of the best singers in EN joining forces couldn't be anything less than amazing, and yet this duet still managed to surpass my expectations. You girls are incredible
The song is called "PreYdator", sang by a duet of Owl and Rat, where the Owl gets the aggressive lyrics but the Rat has the dangerous tone of the music..... It feels... backward, in terms of the theme here? But then you realize who the Owl and Rat are, and you just nod in understanding. It's a great harmony between the characters and the song, and it just fits perfectly.
Works perfectly for the animals behind them too. The Owl is "soft-spoken" but dangerous, the silent ninja of the bird world. And the Rat squeaks loudly to ward off predators, even humans.
This is so Good. Best Animal Cover hands down. The added adlib sounds Bae Mentioned in the after party, went very well with the song. Mumie and Bae's voice mixed together its like perfect a Strawberry and Chocolate Sundae with a cherry on top. Deliscious.
That was awesome! The contrast between your voices really adds to the song, and I appreciated the decision to go harder in the middle section (with visuals to boot!) It gives the song more impact, imo. Amazing work to the both of you and congrats on releasing your first duet!!
