What the hell did these idiots do for 4 years...WHAT DID THEY DO WITH ALL THE MONEY AND TIME...
4 trips to the Bahamas
I guess nothing.. lol
Donated money to war in Ukraine
All the money? Lol you think this 'piece of art' made any money? This game has made $2600....After steams cut, taxes, marketplace purchases, and the actual time in development (I get it games trash, but it still took time) they realistically didn't make any money. Now is the game good, no, absolutely not, it's terrible and it's too bad people even put out things like this. Looks like something someone real young threw together overtime and eventually just hit the release button trying to squeeze out a couple more sales. But at only 200 units sold, eh, they didn't move the needle much.
@@Jdawg96-to2lf 🤣🤣
Steam shouldn't even allow stuff like this to happen. Some sort of legal action should take place against those who do shit like this. That is horrible.
I disagree, then again I'm pro capitalism. I believe the market and customer base determines the success of a product. This game sold 200 units, made a little over $2k. Now, did it deserve to make that much, idk, probably not, but in the big scheme of things, should Palworld have made half a billion dollars basically using someone elses IP in arguably the easiest genre to dev in? Eh, idk. I think a world where the consumer decides whether or not a product fails is a much better world than the latter. A world where content creators like Fry can have a big voice and major influence on peoples purchasing options. But again, I'm pro capitalism, pro personal responsibility, pro accountability for ones actions. To each their own.
@@noFate_games2 Pokemon "Nintendo" doesn't own all pocket monster games.
@@noFate_games2 Too be fair with Palworld, the developers are from Japan as well as Nintendo. There is a lot of similarities between the Pals and Pokemon. If they were completely ripping off of another IP which would be Pokemon, they wouldn't have been able to release the game and would of been sued heavily by Nintendo by now. Nintendo themselves even came out and said there's no wrong doings, but then again both of their headquarters in Japan are apparently in the same neighborhood so maybe special treatment, who knows for sure. But what we do know for sure is that Japan is strict with copyright and there being no fair use laws besides what's said in the terms of service which seeing that Nintendo will and have strike down anything that uses remotely a single second of one of their IPs, like a soundtrack. It's safe to say Palworld isn't going anywhere even if there is a lot of similarities
steam allowing publisher changing names and to any name is bad. Weeks before they got someone who acted out. But you still have fake games or just EA games out there changing publisher names and price. Selling more copies...
Their should be CLEARLY defined progression that the dev has to within some sort of reason adhere to and if not the game gets pulled from the store and then they get a probation to get it back up and if they don't meet that customers can get refunds regardless of time played
Or the people who bought the game sound be able to petition for the game being failed and if % of the community agrees it becomes refundable
bigfry u dont get it its earliic akksessss the devs need another 40 years

I hate modern gaming
It's getting better already, you can see it
fair... tbh i hate modern yt titles even more: "This game TOTAL SCAMf" clickbait shit.. not even putting the game/scam name in the description.. had to listen to BigFry cry for over a minute to know what this video will be about.. Not because he finally called "the game" by it's name but because 4 years ago, Fry was actually cool enough to put the name of the games/scams in his titles.
@@almightyIriewelcome to youtube and retention you pissbaby
@@almightyIrie It's not his fault that the RUclips algorythm is so sh*t that he's forced to use clickbait titles in order to get views.
@@almightyIrie Everything is clickbait now bro. This is bigfry's job as cringe as that is, and he's gotta get the clicks somehow.
Whats suprising is how bad they cant even get the lighting correctly when the engine does half the work for you
No, what's surprising is that people somehow defend these games even if you'd already have a better game from the get go by just using gameguru as your engine.
So we already know why those titles exist: You've got enough with a mindset of "support everything from small people no matter how obviously they want to scam you" to make it worthwhile apparently.
You should really do another video where you follow up on indie projects you covered before to “see where they’re at.” You did one a few years back with Raw and other terrible games.
But maybe (probably not) it will help the defenders of garbage games realize the majority of these projects DONT improve and gather community feedback.
These are my favorite videos you do!
the problem with early access nowadays is a lot of devs use it as a shield to protect themselves.
Imagine watching this and automatically remembering the original video from 2020 😅
literally
Just imagine they'd have done anything.
Like actually anything - how can anyone not only defend this, but how on earth can devs even put something out that's worse than anything made in GameGuru without scripting on top?
And to go further into defending: 13 years ago people made fun of people defending city interactive or any other trash game developer - they at least tried the best they could, this is literally just "place a spawner there and a kill trigger here" there's absolutely nothing else there.
@@Unknown_Genius well at least city interactive games SNIPER GHOST WARRIOR trilogy which was made in cry engine is better than these types of unreal engine copy paste games haha : )
@@GameBoyyearsago that's exactly what I mean, they at least tried the best they could and released something that was by far not the best, but definitely playable and overall enjoyable enough to be worth the money spend on it
WWII flashbacks
0:27 I can't understand people that try deafened devs like that and later same devs slap them in the face with stopping development or game being still bad
Or beg for more money. Or kill off a game then and say there was no one only to make another game…
"Looks like they cut the frame rate in half too" 😂
We sure see a lot of "developers" over the year, some amateurs that only make small updates but still results in a bad game overall, some making a game way out of their scope but somehow made an okay but flawed game, others just open the game in early access but never update it in years, or games that have a great promising start, but got worse with each update. But an early access game that suck back then and "release" practically unchanged? Those are hilariously bad.
There has to be a higher standard for what could even be published as an Early Access title or demo.
Say what you want about Killing Floor 2 now, but back in 2015 when it went Early Access (probably one of the first games on Steam to do so), it should have set the standard for that program. In the devs words, it was intended to be a "very polished beta". It was as close to the final build that we end up getting a year later with much success.
Don't know where the shift happened but now, we rarely get anything past a concept or alpha stage being published as an EA or 1.0 title.
Imagine its the mid 1990's and you tried to publish a demo of your game for one of Playstation's sampler discs in a very rough WIP state. You think Sony would allow that? Probably not. Valve shouldn't either.
What's the point of going to 1.0 if you didn't even do anything with your game? These devs are trash
It suddenly make's Ready or Not's 1.0 release look like a whole new Triple A game compared to stuff like this.
I know game development is hard, but what the actual fuck is this 😂
game dev is hard.. this is GARBAGE tho, not a game sooooo
The game hasn't had a update since 11th of April 2021, so I'm not surprised. (Can be checked on SteamDB)
This looks like someone's first ever game. Pretty sure mine was better than this and it was pretty basic lol
To ask for money to make it then charge money... Oof.
I was told when I first started, to not develop the game I want to make, but to develop the game that I CAN make.
That it's okay to make games which aren't your dream game, in order to get experience first.
Apparently, a lot of these Early Access devs missed this advice.
Totally agree. You also don’t have to release fucking everything. I have multiple projects that I just would not release even for free because there’s no point
I remember you reviewed Easy Red 2 after this one back in 2020 when it was in a poor state in early access but look at Easy Red 2 now it basically transformed into a great game and it's still getting more updates, That's what early access should be about not like this excuse of a game 😅
4 years of dev work..... I just started making my own game on unreal engine 5 about 3 months ago WITH 0 PRIOR PROGRAMMING EXP and i'm close to being that much done........
Any recommendations for resources for learning how to do that?
@@regiuseques6333Just do it.
Someday, I hope to be able to make a game as captivating and intuitive as this. Moving on from texture making tuts to full development.
HOW DID NO ONE NOTICE THAT THE BAR SOUND IS JUST THE COD4 AK SOUND
We've got "Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood" at home
BiA: EiB at home:
There's a difference between Early Access and using it as a scapegoat.
Ex: Took 2 years for Hell Let Loose to be crowd-funded and be developed.
If this game had 4 years that is no excuse.
WHAT HELL LET LOOSE ONLY TOO 2 YEARS?!!??!!!
That is probably one of the best ww2 game on steam.
Early Access can be a great tool if used correctly, however, a lot of low effort asset flips get in. It ought be used to help fund studios and further development of a fleshed out alpha or beta. Unfortunately, a lot of the time, people will use it as a get rich quick scheme. There are real, incredible products out there. They need to be found.
Great vid, funny, with a point. We sent you an email. Love to see you play something good for gaming
Early access and scam go together like peanut butter and jelly, or Kiwi on a pizza
WHY BRO?! I wanted to like your comment so bad.
@@purpleyeti705:))
Lmao jokes on you pineapple has not been hated on pizza since like the late 90s . The new hated item is kiwi on pizza wich took over in 2019. People just love repeating what people assume. But the most voted topping labeled the worst pizza topping has reigned for years and that is anchovies. Even basic searches can confirm.
@@WASTHATABULLETthat’s good to know
You had me on the first half
What did they do to my m1 garand
The BAR has the AK47 sound from COD4.
the game was so broken it cut of all ur audio for the last minute
I'm going to tell my kids this was Brothers in Arms
one would think 'early access' is for when a game is almost complete and in a polished state and they are just wanting to work out the last few kinks and get feedback from the community...aka outsourcing quality control
the only thing i thought of when you were in the tank was "fox.... do a barrel roll!"
You should look into the publisher Aerosoft and look at their business practice. I would love for you to dive into the simulator world... you would be shocked.

Mom, another Bigfry vid dropped
This needs to become a series, WE NEED MOAR
Big you have no faith.. I'm sure the first patch is going to fix EVERYTHING !! 👌
You have games like this then you have the solo dev making games like Road to Vostok and making it look amazing
I can get making a passion project game, I can get giving up on a passion project because you've had a change of heart, I do not get charging people and then doing nothing for several years then release it as a 1.0.
Half of these early access games should be posted as demos to get hype up about a possible early access or to get people interested and build a team off of them. not this constant "buy this early access game so i can launder money and do nothing" constant cycle
that pile of crap cost you man if i met half these devs, i would not be able to hold back my temper and could not guarantee they would survive.
Lol are these weapon sounds straight out of old call of duty titles? Like eg. the weapon in 8:32 sounds alot like the ak47 or mp44 from CoD 4. i was on almost all weapon sound like, yo that sounds familiar
The hell is the "tickets" thing from 4:38 onwards? Is that supposed to say "ticker" or "timer" or something?
I was assuming it’s like the battlefield system where team lives are counted as “tickets”
@@tristonsmith2690 Haven't played any of the BF games, so thanks for laying that out
Tbf these types of games obviously deserve hate
Its often people hating on early access that is going somewhere but still takes time that you get people poping outta the woodworks to defend a game
They need more time. I can clearly see progress. You're being too harsh 🤡
You know the flying tank stuff actually looked fun.... maybe he is onto something..... lmao!
4 more years and it will be good to go!
Literally thought my phone screen was upside down and tried fixing it when bigfry was first person inside the tank 😂
the tommy gun doesnt even fire from an open bolt.........
so far dayz and Ready or not are the only 2 ea games i dont regret buying
Most impressive part of the video was Bigfrys tank recovery lmao. That part had me absolutely dying 🤣🤣
I feel like any game out after 2020 is mostly scams or unfinished garbage, except a few that released as full fledged games or games that actually got better with updates as time goes on.
this games lower quality then my flight sim I made in Alice when I was a kid that was built of only if statements
Just play Easy Red 2. Actually fun WW2 indie FPS.
I'm pretty sure that the people who defend these asset flip "early access games" know the developers. There are clearly WAY better early access games out there.
I did the mistake of buying one of these games back in 2021, It was a milsim type game called Warbox, it looked cool at first but then I figured out it was all store bought assets and features because I had seen the same features in other unreal asset flip games covered her, it was also very half baked with features barley working and the worst optimization I've ever seen.
Clearly it was the dev's first game that they wanted to experimental with all the unreal features, but still they are charging money for a half baked prototype on steam.
you know you’re fckd up if the cursor of the game aint even centered.
I wonder what the haters excuses will be this time.... "But Bigfry, Don't you realize all games have issues on day one? Ya gotta wait for the post launch hot fixes..." LOL. Keep making awesome content.
you gotta stop reminding me in how fast time flies.
2017 was 46 years ago
Sounds like Carl from Jimmy Neutron.
all this game does is make me miss heroes and generals.. now THAT was an early access game with bugs but fuck it was so much fun
dude what a disaster
Bro you want to see an actual early access game go look at GHPC I know it’s not an FPS or tactical shooter but… that’s what a modern early access game should look like
i think the whole problem is that you played it wrong and thats why it looks the way it looks. its not devs fault at all
😂
Meanwhile, Easy Red 2 exists. Oh and thanks for the OG BigFry content.
But Fry, didn't you know? 1.0 only means alpha 2.0. Give them time 😂
I love BigFry roasting trash like this.
I don't think the problem is "early access" itself but people who take advantage of it and steam who does not regulate it..... (because if steam did then they would have the same problem a "morality" police or a "free speech" police would have............ which is trying to draw the line of what is acceptable and what is not...... and all the nuance in between. But I think it's safe to say that a game that hasn't updated once in 3 years and is in an alpha state with no attempt to make it beta or 1.0......... that would be grounds for removal... and maybe even refunds...... (Which would come out of pocket from steam because you know the dev spent that 2000$ he made on a new GPU or his Ramen Noodle supply to live off of.... etc)
Great video dude, I love it.
Ok Bigfry - should we buy it or not??
Games like this is a very infuriating phenomenon but Bigfry covers it so funny lol.
5:13 they really just recorded the MP40 sound from Call Of Duty WWII and used it in here, that's straight up plagiarism
I'm just going to quote Act Man really quick because he had to deal with similar comments when Battlefield 2042 was in its "beta" phase.
Comment: "The final product is more important than the launch product."
Act Man: "Imagine how fucking low, your expectations have to be, to believe those are two different things"
i will say i tend protect early games but when they are well made and seems like promising but these of type of games yeah they will never leave early acces and become garbage per say all i can say yeah ...
Cut the dev some slack bigfry. They just forgot to develop the game! I forgot my sunglasses on the table this morning! We're all human
This dev could work on the next battlefield. I see potential. And besides dice need all the talent they can get.
Best opening to a video EVER.
thought he said he wasnt gonna make videos like this anymore, or am I mistaken? :o
Beating up on these devs that just take take take! shame on you Bigfry🤣
We all should buy this then sue them LOL
After four years in early access, it was time to go into trash.
a PlayStation One game on modern graphics . What a joke!
How many Early Access games end up NOT being scams? I know of 2: Rust and 7 Days to Die. Anyone know any others?
I can't come up with names now since I usually don't care about games in early access until they're properly released, but I can say that other genres than survival or first-person shooters are far less prone to being scams, even when they're early access. I think those two genres I mentioned is often target of scams. MMO's too. But for example puzzle games, it rarely seems to attract scammers. Bad games, maybe, but not these blatant scams.
Baldurs gate 3
Palworld
I haven't seen one of your videos in a while but are you using the same intro music that TB used?
Nope. Could never disrespect the man by doing that.
Its funny i was just watching some videos about how the new Forza Motorsports is a "scam". Those people have no idea what a scam is, there are shitty games that works and then there are SCAMS.
I have the same problem with 7 days to die early access relased at 2013 december and they in this 2024 summer make it leave eraly access BUT the game is horrible big shit... Grose graphics, r7 3700x 1050ti 16gb ram and ssd dont enught for the game, zombies is architect enginners, animations is totaly joke, the wild life and actually the game is look like a empty world, and the bugos like u kill a animal and its tart slideing on the ground and when u cut out a tree its instant repalce him self with 0 hp stb stb... They dont care about the feedbacks by the veterans who have thousands of hours in the game.
Game of the Decade.
Before I realized it was a game I thought it was real combat footage...So real, so compelling...The devs must be very talented, and proud of their (his) work!

funny asf how that games look like a joke made in 4 hours by some youtube egghead dev
They obviously just need another 4 years to iron out the kinks. 🤣
Not sure if it's the same game (from HDGS) but the Steam Depot shows it hasn't been updated since April 11, 2021. So just because they "released" it in 2024, it's the same app. Nothing has changed in 3 years. The news posting from the dev "The game has now released into 1.0 however, please note that the game state has not changed."
you could genuinely make a better game in roblox in like a week
why does it look a bit like Cod World at war but far worse?
You can't compare that masterpiece to this garbage. That's like comparing the Mona Lisa to an autistic toddler's scribbles.
@@rottenapple_ More like a hand crafted diamond to a dirty rock
Bruh developers like this makes me think steam needs some type.of quality control lol. I mean this is an absolute disgrace especially as someone who relies heavily on indie titles for entertainment these days.
This video took me back to good ol' Big Fry days. I'm dead.
Love you, dude.
Iv said this whole time that early access is garbage....very few things positive have come out of earl access...its a scammers paradise and almost all games just stay in early access forever collecting money for nothing OR,worse, there will be a game there but if they come out of early access then they will loose that sweet sweet cheddar from the geniouses who support them and support packs, lack of a complete package or any kind of manageable schedule..I mean at this point if starfield ever released fully they would lose over half of there income. Do people even think about that?lmfao and we see just how great people are at choosing the winners...like the day before lmfao.
The first map seems weirdly similar in layout to a game balled Battalion 1944 or whatever it was called. They might have got it from someone else as well idk, just a thought.
The only people standing up for these games, are 12 year olds that don't understand how a scam works yet. And the bots the company put their resources into, in order to fight negative feedback.
for beginners, is it really hard and time consuming to make a game like this?
I'm a developer. With the available tools and learning resources out there (much of it available free of charge), you should be able to create a game like this with decent quality (a lot better than this, at least) in four years if you care about the game you're making. It's evident that these people have no true love for game development. But if you're diligent enough and have attention to detail, it's not that difficult to make a game nowadays.
Of course, it's a plus if you have formal education in programming or computer technology, but a lot of people without formal education have been able to learn and become great developers on their own. I would say that the most important qualities in a person who wants to become a developer is perserverance and attention to detail. Don't give up when you hit a roadblock (trust me, you will encounter roadblocks every day, even as a seasoned developer), and keep in mind that the computer only does exactly what you tell it, meaning for example writing "x++" can have a completely different effect than "++x", and being able to know when to write "x = y" and when to write "x == y" is paramount.
