Everything is so spread out in America, it’s very time consuming to explore as much as you would like to. You also need your own transport to make the best of it. Sushi 🍣 🍱 is so enjoyable and one of the few things I can eat in hot weather.

I think I’m a sucker for always wanting to watch the fireworks from in front of the castle but will try by the Tangled toilets at some point ♥️ xxx
I found great seats by the rivers of America to watch the fireworks. We were walking to the castle from over there and I noticed a couple of people sitting over there and when I saw the fireworks starting it was a great view so we just stayed there comfortably sitting on those large flat square wooden seats. Better than from down main street or the Contemporary. They are just the closest from the castle over there. You could even lay back on them (if they are still there) which they should be.

How did you get extended hours??? They are always changing things there. When they opened Disneyland after being closed for the virus and you had to make reservations we went 1 day Disneyland and one in California. It was about 1 1/2 months before our trip. I really wanted to go on The Tower of Terror ride, basically we only went in there for that. It had been changed to what it is now. Well when we went in they had just opened the Marvel area and the line to get in there was 6 hours (I didn’t want to see that). They had roped off the ride we went in there to see saying it was in Marvel area. I saw and heard so many people complaining about that. That line was 15 minutes but you had to get in the 6 hour line first. I told my sister I’m going to go tell them what I’m seeing and there are a lot of people disappointed. I went to customer service and told them if we had known that we wouldn’t have gone into that park and would have gone in Disneyland 2 days. We waited 30 minutes for the girl who talked to us to get back to us. She walked us to the barrier and they let us go get in line for that ride. I felt so bad for all those people that couldn’t go on it. I didn’t make a scene at all but felt if no one tells them how will they know. Heard they took that barrier away to allow access to that ride within the week.
Hi there Karen. Loved the vlogs as always. We are hoping to head over next year but it’s been over 10 years since we last went. I’m so stressed as I’m so confused at what to do and where to stay……transportation. The buses or drive. Is there anywhere that we can look for lots of info? Ask questions? We have tried a couple of travel agents but they can’t answer all the questions 😢😢

Ye luckily it didn't effect us for long! Definitely recommend if you fancy a more relaxed viewing..

I couldn't do that heat anymore. Not as fit as i was since cancer. Booked for November 2025
