My mom recently died from covid and I’ve been so depressed and numb. Hurts so bad. But I’ve been working on my walk with God. Watching your videos. They are inspiring. Love them!

I needed this, Today I was gonna go to church but something happened and I decided that I was too flawed and that I should've known better so I ended up didn't going. Hi Ashley, I am only watching this now but its been so encouraging to watch this and felt like you were speaking to me with lots of things. Today I went to Oxford spontaneously to try go somewhere new, I walked around and got a gift for a friend and the interactions were so sweet and then I kind of just sat and thought what should I do now or where should I go, I went into some book stores and then did not want to buy anything and I just saw all these couples and friends around each other, and students settling into their beautiful university and I just started feeling sad like maybe I have done something wrong and don't deserve these things. I am very new to coming to Jesus and I felt maybe this is all just make believe in my head and then I felt bad that I thought that too. But I know god can see my heart and even though I had some stumbles and felt kind of alone, this video just really encouraged me right now and it felt like a good pick me up call with a friend. So thank you for sharing & I thought to post this too as other people might feel this way sometimes too. All in gods timing and I am really practicing trusting. x
