Yes i have researched it, they have sold more singles/albums in germany than here in the UK. btw i've never knocked Mode, they've been my fav band since 1981 and i sport a rare vinyl record collection of theirs as well. Cheers
TheGodParticle the UK always has issue with appreciating their own. It's a regular thing with many of their native exports. Love the English very much, but that seems to be so. Depeche were MASSIVE in the States and still are. Which probably accounts for their huge album sales. California itself has a larger population than the UK. It's crazy and DM are one of the few British bands to have a following like that.

That hurts you saying that, do your single and album sales in germany compared to the UK between 82/92. Anyway. they have so much going on in germany with mode, even now after many years they have bars dedicated to mode. Don't knock em, cheers

I think what made Dm stand out honestly was their melodies. They had good hook melodies that were romantic and sensual. That's the truth of it.
