thanks for sharing. that's how I pack my barrel tape up all the liquids, I also put bath soap in a container, then I tape up around the container so the smell don't come out. and i put the oil dem in a plastic bag.
I had to learn the hard way,I put bar soap in their one time and the rice was all soap had to throw it away.
Dollar Tree also has the big storage bags, next to hangers and clothes pin aisle

Hi girl, I’m just packing 2 barrels to last me and my family as plan to spend a good long while in Jamaica land we love. We love it but it’s expensive, thanks for tip on taping up the bottles I did that and used bobble wrap for some items. Bless up

Earlier today I followed a friend to BJ's , she is returning to Jamaica and will be packing a barrel.
I have never sent one before but I am leaning towards doing so because I know things are really hard on a lot of Jamaicans right now.
I love and appreciate how you are not afraid to show people that you can buy (proper) things for family members and can do so buying from different places.
Many people back home often think money grows on trees here and they think that when purchasing things to send its easy and cheap.

You can get Kraft and Planters brand at Dollar Tree too, Great Value brand is a little cheaper but very good.

If you have big bags of oils and rice you can put those at the bottom, then put other stuff on top of them.The pots can put in the middle or on top.

Came across your channel. I have 3 barrels to pack but I keep putting it off. Too lazy to do it. I have too much stuff. I coupon a lot so you can imagine all the stuff I have. It cost me little or nothing to get the things I coupon.

@nasharee Hanson,I buy personal care things like toothpaste,deodorant,shampoo,conditioner,shower gel and things like that.for food stuff I only buy ketchup and some can food.You can get toilet paper and paper towels too.

How many items you say on average filled the barrel?
To be honest I have never counted it,But it can fit about 50-100 I would say roughly .Depending on the size of the items,the bigger the item the less it will hold.
