Last year I made a video called What If Shane survived where I showed what I thought would happen with Shane still alive in the main show of The Walking Dead and now that The Walking Dead The Ones Who Live has at least for now wrapped up that Rick Grimes and CRM storyline, let's pick up from where we left off in that video, with Shane being the one in that Consignee jacket at the end of the The Walking Dead season 11 when Rick Grimes returned.
In this video we answer the question of what if Shane was in The Ones Who Live? What would Shane do differently to what Rick Grimes did? How different would the series have turned out along with the Daryl Dixon series where Daryl and Carol are in France and Maggie and Negan are in Dead City with Negan getting another villain arc where it will potentially be Negan vs Rick Grimes?

Depends on what season that little girl Clem with join. The farm group would be a good start and I don’t think Shane would be against letting her into the group and I think she’d have plenty of good father/mother figures with her.
Honestly I wish he did get banished in season 2 and survived unlike the comments. He could've made an amazing protagonist

This was really good. Absolutely love the ending too, especially with Shane doing the opposite of what Rick did at the end, and actually swearing to the sword. I love it.
Shane loved the entire Grimes family. Hell they all had their mental break downs. He had one early. I say bring him back as Shane’s brother
Shane's fall from grace is tragic he had a nervous breakdown were Rick remained carm and decent Shane fell more and more in desperation the games Corrie played with him just about tipped him over the edge no chance in having a family he gave in to violence and in the end was unsavable....a good decent man turned in to a monster a dark refection very sad 😔

You should do "What If Negan killed Rick in the S7 lineup and Glenn took over as leader of the group?". As well as a continuation of your What If Carl survived video, maybe called "What If Carl was in the Daryl Dixon Show?".

Dixon, I doubt wouldn’t ever be able to get on board with Shane. He will probably hit the road. Again with Merle. He found out what happened with Randall. First. So he wouldn’t be able to trust Shane. Who is he going to kill next? Once his leader ship is threatened. I like Shane leaving the group. And ending up one of the savior lieutenants. Best. I feel like Michonne ends up at Woodbury regardless. And Shane, Andrea, become savior lieutenants. I like your version, but this is more what I would like to see. The reason why Michonne wouldn’t really like. Shane. Is because of his manipulation tactics. They’re similar to what the governor would do. And you saw what happened with that. Maybe Michonne’s and Andrea. Do still travel together. But split up for some reason prior to the helicopter crash. And she ends up with Shane and the saviors. Then Michonne’s, fights, Andrea. At the final confrontation with the saviors. When Eugene, breaks their guns. And Michonne’s wins. And put Andrea in jail. With Shane, Negan, And they all have to earn their freedom. Same as. Negan. Pretty much everything with Dwight, ends up the same. Dixon decides to let him go. To honor Carl. RJ still happens. But still with Rick. Shane and Andrea. Disappear after they earn their freedom. Realizing they would be ostracized from the group.negan, still stays. Because of his relationship with Judith And Lydia. So everything following is still the same. Until the one to live. And that’s where. Shane, Andrea, Rick and Michonne. Rivalry would reach a climax. In the finale. General bill wouldn’t die. Even though I’m not against that. I just think it was too quick. Instead, he would be critically wounded and in a coma. And his son would take over. Beginning a generational rivalry. With RJ and Judith Grimes. Shane, Andrea, kids. Sorry if it’s kind of long. But if you have time, let me know what you think. Daryl Dixon, would eventually find himself. At Alexandria anyway. After some goofy scheme by merle. Get him killed by another group. But more on the outskirts. Until after the war. Because he doesn’t like Shane because of the stuff that happened with Randall. Merle can get killed, by the reapers. Or one of his biker gang buddies. From before the apocalypse. That managed to catch up with him. Either is fine with me. Dixon would never be able to get on board with Shane. He didn’t even like him before the Randall thing. I can’t really see him being OK. With him murdering Rick. It just doesn’t fit for me.

I never saw Shane as a villain. I saw him as a very strong survivor. I hated what the writers made him do to Otis, They could have at least written the scene better because the way it played out there was no need for it. They were almost to the truck. Anyway Shane would soon realized he didn't love Lori that it was just a trauma bond with benefits. The fact that Lori was pregnant. Thats what pushed him over the edge and viewed Rick as an obstacle-and at the time he was beginning to view Rick as weak and Shane didn't agree with many of Ricks new decisions. I could see where he was coming from. The thought of Rick making all the rules for the new baby made Shane over react. Even if Shane would have come to his censes that night the herd hit the farm and made it to the prison. I believe Rick and Shane both being Alpha dogs would not stay as one group long. But while still together would have taken out the Govenor and Shane and Andrea would have taken over as leaders of the Govenor's group. Somehow the Govenor's doctor (I forgot his name) would have done a paternity test on Judith and Rick would find out he actually is Judith bio Dad-not Shane. By then Adrea would be preg.& happy with Shane then later down the road they would have all ended up fighting Negan. Anyway, I have a entire storyline for how the two groups would have come back together. LOL But this is all for now

That’s exactly what happens. But he has Judith! His own daughter
Totally agree with analysis on the crm’s ending. Since Dead City now has 8 episodes for s2 I’m hoping the ones who live can get renewed and have the more runtime it deserves. There is still a potentially interesting story with the spies Beale briefly mentioned but variant walkers seem like the direction the universe is going to me. Hopefully that’s more interesting.
What if Andrea survived because of comics
You should make a alternative to this if Shane left in s2 like he wanted and falls in with the crm and Rick finding him later when he’s captured in s9
They should make a what if series but with other scenarios
I’ve actually cant imagine Shane living past season 3 I personally think his head would be in the Governors fish tank and the rest of the group fed to walkers also it would be very annoying hearing him talk about Ricks family as if they were his own
