I laughed so hard in the beginning 🤣🤣 Since Jungkook is also a sub rapper and J-hope a sub vocalist, it can be confusing
When they sing high notes, they can sound similar, but all of them have a different technique for example Jimin ends the notes often with a “cry“.
On top of that, if there is autotune on their voices or layering, so it is hard to distinguish, you can pay attention on their pronunciation. Jungkook for example sings the vowels a little bit different.
Edit: 13:15 It is reverb on his voice. It is just Jungkook.

all of their voices are very easy to distinguish for fans but in general honestly, V is way too easy to ell apart.

Not really. To me, Jungkook and Jimin's voices are completely different. I can just tell when it's Jungkook or when it's Jimin. Jimin has a light voice that cracks in a beautiful way. It's just so unique and too hard to miss. Jungkook's voice is so smooth and angelic. It's impossible for me to mix up these two amazing voices.

the thing about jungkook is that he's good at impressions and does most of the back vocals so it's really often that he may sound like someone else esp jimin/tae (when he sings really low or trying to imitate tae he indeed sounds like him). i also remember the time he "sing-alonged" to adora's(?) back vocals in trivia love and it was really close to how she sounds like

It was hilarious at the begining when u made jungkook and hobi vice versa.. U will get those voices soon.. I recommend u to listen to color coded videos blood sweat and tears, butterly... Specially butterly song has almost similar voices and also harmonies which are also not even mentioned in the color coded. If u can get who is harmonising whom in butterfly.. U r pro...

Jungkook sings with aspiration. I used to confuse Jimin and Jin's voice before.
for me it's usually hobi and yoongi sometimes they really sound similar
Sometimes I mix up Jin and jungkook not all the time but when they sing in a certain way, and sometimes jhope sounds like suga but suga doesn’t sound like jhope lol but otherwise I got it all good!
I got 29 points and that was only because I mistook J-hope's voice for Jin's at that felis navida Christmas song. I never even knew they did that song for Christmas last year. Gosh, they need to let J-hope sing more.
I only got no1 wrong I thought it was suga. V's voice was the voice I recognized first when I was new. He has very distinct voice and it's my fav. Everybody has beautiful voices.

I think it is actually pretty recent since they started harmonizing together more. I think the switched it up more but usually it was jin and v harmonizing and jimin and jungkook harmonizing.

for me, i couldn't tell apart jin and jungkook's vocals in the beginning. they sounded the exact same to me.
When I’m new to the fandom, sometimes I can’t tell apart Jimin’s and Jin’s voice. And sometimes Jimin and JK when they did highnotes. Sometimes V and RM sound the same too, just like when I first hear the chorus of Young Forever, I thought it was RM but turns out V. Now after 5 years in the fandom, I can definitely tell all their voices apart.

I, personally, don't see how anyone could confuse Jungkook and Jimin's voices(I.e they sound they same) because they have such different styles and tones to their voices. Jungkook has a more masculine so to say but also gentle voice, while Jimin has a higher pitched voice which can be considered more feminine in regards. Also high notes are different cause Jimin adds a "cry" sound at the end of his notes while Jungkook let's it's flow off in a natural way
Both are ASTOUNDING vocalist don't get me wrong, it's just I don't see how anyone could mix up their voices since they're both so unique

Don't feel so bad about missing some! In some of these, there is A LOT of vocal processing. Live, I can pick a member in my sleep. On the album, if there's an effect, it can be hard. IMO, JK and Hobi have the voices that can sound the most different ESPECIALLY processed. They both do a lot of harmonizing and backup I've noticed, Hope less obviously. Hobi is a dark horse in these challenges because he sings very well but we don't get to hear it as much as he raps!
