Here's a tip for you to save on wasting expensive printer ink. Just prior to printing your large letters or words, convert the type to outline script. That way you still get the shape of the letters but, with just the outline; the interior of the letter is clear and uses much, much less ink when you print it.
Thanks for the tip Alan!

I just want to say THANK YOU for this! It is the most meaningful shower gift I will receive! I am in love! Thank you again!!!
user Calendar You're welcome!
been 3 years yet still amazing..
the colors you chose were great..
to my point of view.. it wud look little more wonderful without the glass.. yet with the glass still look nice & beautiful..
Thanks Seven!
Great vid and no music, just the way I like
The black paint on the back of the letters really makes the top color pop. I will be doing that on my project
Awesome. Glad you found my channel man!
I like the way you trust your brad nailer. Gangsta
RUclips recommended this video...glad I watched it so awesome...gave me a ton of inspiration
Thanks for showing how to do this. You make it look easy.
This was a great inspiration. Scrolled a 1968 Fender logo and put it in a custom frame, under glass - reclaimed maple pallets. Thanks.
Awesome!
wow I'm so much more confident in myself after watching this video...Thank you very much, definitely subscribing....
welcome to my madhouse haha
This was freaking awesome! You’ve inspired me to want to try it. I’ve never worked with a wood scroll or wood period. I am itching to learn. Thanks for sharing.
Cinthia Priegue Right on!! Go make cool stuff!!
Here’s a tip. Cover the wood with contact paper before gluing the pattern on. No glue residual.
Great project. I am going to "borrow" it for this weekends project. Keep the videos coming!
WoW, amazing. Well done. 👏🏼 thank you for making this video. I’m a framer but want to do the finer things. Looking at purchasing a scroll saw. To make a “man cave” sign but I feel far more inspired =]
Awesome GO FOR IT!!!
How are u getting into the holes of the A and P?
Nice work. I can never find a font that I like. Yours is great.
Thank you,
Al
+oldman719 Thank you sir.
Thanks for a great video, your very talented!
THANKS!
Love the final product!! How long did it really take you to cut the letters in the scroll saw?
Hi I am new to the scroll saw world and trying to learn something new and creative. I love your video and must say your cutting finish is very good. What type of blade are you using and number.
Pretty cool, enjoyed your project and a great idea !
Just getting into scroll sawing and that was a nice piece .
Thanks dude!
Nice job! Great accents.
i was looking at the colors like red and black cool, but gold? but damn that came out awesome def gonna copy this
Yeah the customer asked for those colors...
I have a hard time finding font I like. What font did you choose??
It's been so long I don't remember. But I know it's from Microsoft Word...
It is called Edwardian Script.
What is the paper/sticky back you used to attach the print to the wood? I always find this difficult to remove.
Spray glue. It's easy to remove if you don't use too much.
wonder if you answer questions 4 years later what tool you used to cut the glass with so easily
a glass cutter
Very much enjoyed your vid!
How many tpi would you suggest tor 1/8" Baltic Birch plywood?
Thanks!
recommended by youtube cool channel man Subbed
WELCOME!
What kind of paint are you using? Need sandpaper before appliying or not?
The paint was left in this garage when I moved in. That was years ago and cant remember color or brand. Thanks for checking it out!!

+Goolam Chohan right on! appreciate the nice comment.
Wow you did awesome! I love the layer of framing you added and the glass! What size nails did you use in your nailgun?
Thanks Alyssa! Brads are 18ga 5/8in
What type of adhesive do you use to glue the paper to the wood?
3M, it's the light dudy, paper comes off easier
Derek Conway thank you
What’s d brand of your scrol saw?
Delta. An old one...
What's the spray called?
You don’t glues the inside corners of your frame?
No. Not with the backing on it...
very nice!
Great work
Nice work
What's the tack or nail gun your using? Great finish by the way 👍🏻
James Murray 18ga
What is the spray that you used when you sprayed the back of the paper before you put it on the wood? Also, what kind of glue did you use to glue the letters onto the back piece of wood?
3M spray adhesive for the paper and GO2 Loctite for letters. Thanks!
What tool did you use to build the frame?
Miter saw and router : )
Great work! Was the wood mdf?
Yes. Thanks for watching...
what the number your blade
Sorry I dont remember that was 10 yrs ago
What kind of wood and how thick is this one you're doing?
Backing is 1/8 inch ply. Letters are 1/2 inch MDF. Frame is 3/4 inch ply. Little "top rails" are 1/8 inch ply. Client asked for those colors, I'm sure you'll choose different. I would. Thanks for watching man!!!
I was wondering because cutting 3/4 inch of any wood on the scroll saw is kind of hard. I love using my scroll saw but I HATE having to cut 3/4. I do use my band saw and then go to the scroll for the really light areas. Anyway, thanks for the info and keep up the awesome work.
.What program do you use for the letters ?
What about that little guy -e- ?
I think without the glass 👍
What font did you use?
Don't remember, was on Microsoft Word
It is called Edwardian Script.
how long did it take you?
The letters about 30 min. The entire project a couple hours or so...
What was the glass you used called?
Just called glass I guess. Got it at Home Depot in a big sheet, then cut it to fit.
Derek Conway Thank you
Homer.
I miss Harper, now we have Trudeau
👏👏👏
Do not make a wood Trudeau tho lol
OK - table saw with no with no guard or riving knife to protect user from kick back or contact with the circular saw blade.
Happy now Derek. The point is the way the saw is being used is extremely dangerous.
Yes happy now. 'Guards' prevent sightlines which I personally don't like. Riving knives have nothing to do with 'kick back' but prevent binding. I have a riving knife on my sawstop now. Anything else bud?
Circular saw with no guard. Very dangerous technique used. Doubt this should be on RUclips.
I think you mean 'table saw'.
Sorry-No good fast action and no explanation! Bye!
