Attemping to ride my FXR almost 3000 miles in less than a week (Part 1)

- This is part 1 of a 2 part series in which Scott attempts to ride his 1991 FXRS 2900 miles to be apart of 2 events, almost a 1000 miles apart, in the same weekend. In this video, watch as Coley Landon from Atlanta Georgia joins him to ride along the coast to the first event, the East Coast FXR Jam in East Durham New York. Along the way the boys take a little time to enjoy the sites such as D.C, The Statue of Liberty, New Haven Conn, and even a blast from Scott's past tuck away in the beautiful town of Stockbridge Mass. Spoiler alert, the guys make it to the event and get to check out some killer bikes, while also getting a quick little interview in with Chris Hery, one of the guys that have been apart of the Jam since the start, and is also one of the builders for this years #fxrtour. Nonstop action until the end so be sure to catch it all and stay tuned for part 2 dropping next week!

You should paint that symbol your grandpa came up with somewhere on one of your bikes as a tribute.
Now that I have a good picture of what it is, I def want to make a better sticker or something of it!
What an event! I rode up from Florida on Friday and stayed until Sunday morning. there were some very very nice bikes out there.

Wow great video! I was at the Jam on Saturday & Sunday so I missed you, but met Coley when he was fixing his coil. Stockbridge - beautiful area! I just saw (Suicide King) Chris yesterday at the Laconia FXR show, did a group ride and lunch. Kind of a small world I guess. Looking forward to the rest of your trip.

80 mph at 3200 rpm. Thats more like it. Did you keep stock belt with 65 tooth pulley or need new belt as well?
Yes, the stock belt still works just fine. The wheel is all the way to the back of my swingarm but there’s still a little adjustment left so it’s not maxed out
At 80 MPH how many miles to a tank of fuel are you getting?
I can safety go 140 and still not be in reserve. To fill up takes about 3.6 so there’s only a little over half a gallon left
