    Hello can you shoot solder videos again

  • @solobudget
    @solobudget 2 года назад +1

    Hi !! Your videos are super helpful and what you made are so beautiful! I have a question about patina. I have seen copper patina and black patina, are they fluid to "age/oxydize" the solder or are they more like a color dye? If they are more like a color dye, after wash them and polish them, will the color "chip off " when it's scratched or something? I'm just worried customers face situation if the color chips off 🙈🙈
    Thank you again for amazing videos and tips ❤️🙏🏻

    Beautiful stone. Have you ever dripped solder onto your hand? I'm a dental lab tech and I can't tell you how many times I dripped hot wax on my hand when I was first learning. Lol! Now solder is a different level! Hope your glove helps. I'll have to check into that flux. The less fumes the better. Lovely work, as usual.

    Can I ask why you added the wire to the rim of the pendant? Was that in order to build it up?

    • @teaandart
      @teaandart  Год назад

      Yes, it gives structure to the edges and also looks neat 😊

    Does going over the solder mess it up in any way? In other words; is reheating it multiple times bad for the overall quality of the piece and how well it’ll last ?

    would the solder turn your skin green/black if you made a ring with it?

    • @teaandart
