Of course people will still be interested in a Blur gig! We're all still waiting eagerly to hear a new blur album, ( been waiting since 2015) you've all got a great sound! No pressure, would just be great! 👍
He’s one of the unsung heroes of one of the best bands of the last 30 years. Doesn’t really care about the spotlight and all the bull that goes with it.
Dave is great, I can’t wait to see ye again! It’s been almost ten years since I last saw blur, and it was amazing so I was very quick to buy tickets when the Malahide show was announced!
that was 20 years ago, the man was on coke at the time, he changed and apologized publicly, and if anything, nardwuar somewhat deserved it, he was harassing the band just as much as dave was harassing him during the previous interview.
@@james3808 rot human, bro you glaze them and making it look like nardwuar is at fault while he did nothing. Is straight up disgusting. He would bully you too if you were there maybe even in this day
Hands down best group from the Britpop era, if you think otherwise, you're either in denial or simply don't understand what level Blur were on. There's not a lot of bands that can match their quality, variety, songwriting and musicianship. Nobody even comes close to Damon Albarn's back catalog and it's embarrassing that anyone would even attempt to argue against that.
Oasis were the kings when it comes to sales, and thats what makes more sense when talking about "kings". But blur was the best band, with more elaborated songs. Oasis did manage stuff better during that era, like releasing the best choices as singles, something blur didnt really do well.
@Valdo Tc Standing the test of time makes you a king, not having two great albums and nothing more. I don't care about sales. Britney Spears sold a lot of albums too and there isn't any substance there what so ever. Sales are basically a dick measuring contest to show how many sheep bought your album. I'm not basing a term like king on what a bunch of yuppies bought. It's what's on the album musically that sets bands apart.
@Baker Boy Antagonistic? Oh my god, I'm so sorry. Did my words hurt? Of course, you are wrong though, music isn't subjective. It's the opinions of those who listen to music that are subjective. I'm going to guess from this mistake that you also support the Oasis school of thought. I'm sorry for hurting your feelings so severely that you felt the need to address a complete stranger on the matter. Fact, not opinion, Oasis' (for one) can't hold a candle to Blur's songwriting, innovation, musicianship or sonic variation. You simply can't argue that. It's fact.
After watching the video with him and nardwuar, can't take this guy seriously

What a charming bloke
he's really riveting isn't he
I’ve literally worn the same clothes for 27 years
He’s so underrated
The word underrated is overrated on RUclips.

I love Dave

Great interview from paul scholes
Legend. Awesome Album from DR.
Top fella.
great interview
If Dave has kept his clothes from the 90's can you ask him to send me them? I'd make a banging profit from 90's gear lol.
Well he said he has been wearing them for the past 35 years so would make that 1987/1988 so 80's/90's clothes!
Mr. Bullocks 🥱🤡
Hopefully he's nice to Nardwuar this time
lol
The less looking Rockstar in the Universe. Good guy tho.
Blur were never a rock band!
Is he a charm less man then ?
