The Shape Box tool is great if you want to transform portions of or your whole spline. You first select the nodes you want to affect, then click the Shape Box tool. At that point grab one handle. Grab the a corner handle to distort, a top or side handle to sheer or stretch or compress the whole wave. You can also use it to invert: grab the bottom edge and move it above the top edge. Thanks so much! Great explanation on all these tools!
It wasnt in the video but i was tring to find it here: Under the spline options(three dots in spline window) you can find the setting "show Only selected tool" which will display only the splines of selected Node so your spline window doesnt overrun you with keyframes and you dont have to search anymore.
Jeremy, I can’t thank you enough for this video (and all your other videos). In between projects, I try to decrease my learning curve and increase my knowledge of this incredibly powerful software. This video solve a problem I’ve had trying to shorten the length of titles, including yours, below the standard 5 seconds. This video showed me how to do it and it’s like finding water in the desert!!! Thank you!
EXACTLY the explanation i was looking for on the difference between step in and step out !! your tutorials are like a library i keep coming back to !!! 📚📚📚📚 😁😁😁 (young people, google 'library) 😜
For some reason it's not showing up by default you need to "activate it". Check at 3:20 I mention how to do it. Basically just hit the letter "T" on your keyboard and it should show up!
I think the box tool is supposed to make the increasing and decreasing of values easier. Bc If you select the points and move the box areound it will still maintain the same graph.
As if I am attending MIT Media Lab Class. Amazing Experience! Beautifully Explained! Thank YOU again ! Can you replace white background by the text "Video Editor Studio" and demonstranstrate all possible permutations and combinations of PARTICLE EFFECTS using the same animation tools? I appreciate!
Thank you! I'm not really sure to understand your request, could you try to rephrase? But regarding particle effect my knowledge is quite limited I'm affraid, I would need to take a closer look at it.
@@VideoEditorStudio I am suggesting you to share your next video on davinci Fusion techniques to generate particle effects. Use "Video Editor Studio" as the text. It's about VFX. The creative use of "pEmitter" in fusion - all possible special effects using this tool including the use of pEmitter in 3D. Thanks!
A very underrated video right here, good work 👍
Thank you PeeJ. I love your transition tutorials man!

Can you do videos on bouncy and morph of text and logos
I have seen them in AE but not in Fusion
So is it possible to achieve that form of animation
@5:23 how come on my DVR 17.3.2 I do not see the "Ease In" and "Ease Out" little rectangular fields at the top of the Spline panel?

When i finish my spline thing i export my project and the text comes in a liniar animation like i never did the spline. How do i fix this?
How do you open the spline editor? It isn't appearing on my screen.
Great tutorial, many thanks for your effort. If possible it would be nice to see some more on line/polygon animation or drawing effects.
Thank you, alright I'm adding this to the list of future videos!
Thanks very good tutorial I will like you to show US more about the Paint Node and how to use its tools
Alright, thank you for the suggestion i'll add that to the list of future video!

I'm not knowing a lot about 3D elements, I will have to take a closer look on it. Thank you for the suggestion!
