Well in an official concept art Namor indeed doesn't have a mustache. I understand the criticism but we can't really blame LEGO because they make products based on concept and promotional arts.
I agree
Better he does not have that cruddy moustache because bill Everett art forever and comic accurate always triumphs as much as possible
What better way not to spoil the movie 😏
Just because Namor doesn’t have facial hair doesn’t mean he’s one of the worst ever just inaccurate for example the Namor fig looks way better than hawkeye
It's quite similar to the concept art, and the original comic book version, so it's good in that regard...
A lot of these figures really don't belong on this list, slight inaccuracies are because LEGO has to work with concept art. Besides the lack of facial fair, Namor is a very detailed figure and a good addition to any collection. The Goblin bigfigure is quite unique. Really big differences like the blue kinetic charged Panther, or Wakanda Forever Shuri, are fair. Surprised you didn't have Ikaris, the head and hair look nothing like Richard Madden.
Namor really did not deserve this
The criteria for these rankings really needs to be established better. Inaccuracy seemed to take a huge hit on Minifigures that don't look bad at all. It was a little weird.
Facts
Fr it really drives me crazy how much this guy complains about accuracy
I get why people dislike the King Namor figure but personally, I love it. I like the front and side leg printing. Maybe a unpopular opinion but I prefer that the figure has no mustache, like you said it looks more comic accurate but sort of film accurate at the same time. I really like the figure.
Agreed
I still feel kind of bad for the actor though only getting one lego minifigure that doesn’t even match his appearance in the movie lol
As I like the comic book character, I kinda prefer this version, actually...
@@hakanstorsater5090 same
Ikaris definitely deserved a spot. He looks nothing like he does in the film.
Agreed, I felt like that ain’t concept art, but just pure laziness
@@brickbanditstudios6037 It definitely was concept art, it looked more comic accurate.
@@frogs3338 I’ll give you that.
Happy Hogan = Shang-chi = Bruce Wayne.
Aight then, we have Happy Hogan- No I mean Bruce Wayne- uhhhhh Draco Malfoy- uhmmm Shang Chi- wait wait no, Druig- I mean a Hoth Trooper- nononono a Rivendell elf… okay, seriously?!?!
The green goblin is exactly what its supposed to be we already have ALOT of green goblin variant’s anyways
i feel the only reason they had a firefighter in the molten man battle was just an excuse to hide in another fire extinguisher
Alot of these figures are generally good figures, you just would have rather gotten a different figure? You're not commenting on the figure being bad, just the selection of the minifigures. Only the top 3 has genuine criticism of minifigure quality.
I agree with everything, except for Namor and Black Panther Blue Suit. I thought they were both solid minifigs, but that’s just my opinion.
Nono, I kind of like the Black Panther blue suit and Namor too. I think they did them not too bad
All of these figs remind me that lego really forgot something called leg printing
4. The original line of Spidey sets was based on Ultimate Spider-Man, so it would have been really strange for Lego to throw in a traditional Green Goblin.
Yeah but the spiderman bridge battle set is based on the cartoon with a traditional green goblin aswell so it confuses me
@@nichssterThe bridge battle set is not based in any Spiderman product in particular, it has Ben Reily from the 616 comics, Jessica Drew from the Ultimate universe, both of which never showed up in the Ultimate Spiderman show, and the villains are all from 616.
@@josesanchezrodriguez1783 look at the box’s cover art it has the spiderman tv show logo on it and reuses the spiderman figure from that line but idk
@@nichsster It does but every set from that time period did and many were not based on the show. For example, Hobgoblin never appeared in the show but appeared in a set with Ghost Rider and most Dock Ocks from that era were based on the comics while the show one was much different
10) Nah, it's decent
9) No I don't think
8) Interesting
7) Weird Black Panther suits (but Interesting)
6) it's decent
5) Strange that minifigures of Namor doesn't look like Tenoch Huerta Mejia..
4) This big figures is from Ultimate Spider-man 2012 actually and it's not pretty bad.
(Honorable mention: the design of Captain America is very good for 2012. For Hawkeye, I wonder why Lego didn't make the effort to make the minifigure look a bit more like Jeremy Renner so Yeah... and the firefighter is Interesting)
3) It's kinda decent actually
2) I agree
1) I agree on that too
Namor is an awesome minifigure!
I literally don't understand the hate for the Namor fig. It has leg printing and side leg printing which normal figs don't have. The only thing bad about it is the lack of a mustache. Even then, the head can be easily replaced.
Exactly, is just ridiculous!!!
Sorry, namor was a great minifigure
I honestly still love the old Captain America fig. I have too much nostalgia for it to hate on it.
This is such a lame list. You're really putting figures with side leg printing, arm printing and etc on this list. Marvel have, and continue to have, much much worse figures.
I think the 2012 Avengers Hawkeye minifigures looks more like the Avengers Assemble version.
I like most of the figures on the list. Most of them look good, even if they’re not accurate. You can still tell sho it’s supposed to be. (Other than Happy Hogan. That figure definitely deserves the number one spot)
But the fireman? What are you talking about? That’s one of the best figures Lego’s ever made!
Firemen are pretty generic in Lego City, anyway, apart from the brown head.
The Green goblin big fig is from an spider-man tv series. its amazing that they made sets for it
This feels less like top 10 worst marvel figs, and more like top 10 most inaccurate/missed opportunities for marvel figs
I really am hoping on a series 2 with hopefully yellow daredevil would be above amazing
I will say that if you switch the black hairpiece off of Happy Hogan and change it out for 2012 Hawkeye's hair in black, you would get a comic accurate Bruce Wayne if you decide to do maybe a custom Minifigure showcase for the Arkham games.
Hi Jonathan!! I love these types of “Top 10” videos and would love to see more. I agree with your picks for this list, especially Happy Hogan. I wish Happy and Namor looked more accurate to the movie, but that’s where the magic of customs comes in! 🌟
I think the old rocket minifigure deserves to be on the list because of the wrong colour fur
Seriously???
1.- Why would you rather have Trevor Slattery instead of a new character as Razor Fist ??? It doesn't manner if isn't a well-known or relevant character in both movie and comics, it stills been a better addition to our Marvel roaster than a random guy.
2.- Namor is a bad figure because the mustache was absent??? C'mon!!! Works better with out it, as a mix between his traditional comic appearance and their adaptation, making it one of the best figures we saw last year, and your telling me that his leg printing (thing that EVERYONE blames if it's skipped) and leg-side printing doesn't matter because the figure cannot be good without the mustache???
Figures as the Carnage we've been getting through all this years with his printing that looks like a knock-off, Gwen Stacy with her poor civilian design, recent Ebony Maw which is a step back from what we got the first time and could benefited with the Avatar mold figure, Shocker (if you take out his arms, is just a random guy) and Agent 13 with a suit that never appeared in CW are figures that deserve a spot.
Could you please do a top 10 cheapest marvel minifigures?
i agree with this list tbh, especially happy hogan like what the heck was lego thinking 😂😂
There are some figures that aren’t too bad, but I absolutely agree that Happy Hogan looks so awful. That is the definition of extreme, pure laziness on LEGO’s part. Like what the heck??!?!? 🤣
@@brickbanditstudios6037 honestly the only one i disagree with is the green goblin big fig, i actually really like it since its very accurate to the ultimate spiderman show which it was based on
Can you do a how to build a better happy hogan. And also luthen from the andor series would be cool too
I think the comic con captain amarica and iron man should have been number one
Really? No Mandarin without capes or sleeves??
That green goblin is cool
Namor is a fantastic figure. Very detailed, a lot of nice printing and I couldn’t care less that there’s no beard. Namor in the comics doesn’t have a beard anyway
Gorr deserves to be there instead of Namor
Most of these are “top ten worst inaccurate minifigures” and not really the “worst”
Photon was the leader of the Avengers during the 80's. I was THRILLED they made her a minifig. (And Namor is also a great minifig.)
Was it Photon who was Captain Marvel for a while?...
@@hakanstorsater5090 yep before carol ever was
@@oscarkamala There's been a bunch of them Captain Marvels by now. Kinda hard to tell all of them apart...
But the firefighter was such a meme! 😂
I always loved that Green Goblin big fig!
the early versions of any character were pretty bad, but due to limited resources
The 2012 Cap America was the first Steve Rogers I've gotten so I still kind of like him
I would agree with you that 2012 captain america isn't that bad, and I think namor is still pretty good, since it's only one small detail that they left out. Overall though I agree with the list!
I actually love the original Captain America and Hawkeye
Say what you will, but the Goblin from Ultimate Spiderman is one of the best Marvel big figs in my opinion
I agree, Happy Hogan is the worst LEGO Marvel minifigure! I would place The Wasp as a close second!
Did you just call BRAD PITT, GUY PIERCE?!?!?!!!!😡
1. After the entire drama with the arrest of Jonathan Majors, I think we will not get He Who Remains, Quantumania Kang or any other of those people anymore (though they still make an Ezra Miller minifigure so who knows)
2. I have that Minifigure Pack from Far From Home
3. I think that the unaccurate minifigs are due to LEGO working with concept art, and those designs sometimes change later on. Like, most of the designs stay what it is, but sometimes it changes resulting into these unaccuracies.
It's great to know your favorite and least favorite Marvel minifigs! Thank you for these awesome videos!
Depends if he is found guilty or not
@@papingosstudios161 I think he will be cancelled anyways. The cancel culture is harsh...
@@JasperVlas if hes not guilty and innocent he won't
@@papingosstudios161 I hope it
@@JasperVlaswe may as well have a Lego Andrew tate
you are now my favourite Jonathan
It's interesting hearing you say you prefer movie accurate minifigs as I'm the opposite. I prefer comic outfits and it bothers me we no longer get any from both marvel and dc when the cinematic costumes aren't as good like wasp, namor valkyrie and thor whose armour is too sci-fi as oppose to more fantasy/norse mythology.
I like the namor figure cause he loved namor in the movie and plus figure looks pretty cool
To me, Gwen Stacy from the Daily Bugle is definitely one of, if not THE, worst. The hair and face look nothing like Gwen, and the jacket is just sad lol. So disappointed, because I’ve waited YEARS for a comic accurate Gwen, but we just ended up with a bunch of poorly reused pieces :/
Yeah, she doesn't look much like either the early comic book version, or the Spider-Verse Spider-Gwen version. The Supergirl minidoll hairpiece, or the Jillian Holtzmann hairpiece would have worked a lot better...
I honestly like all of these minifigures, except for Happy Hogan lol
10-8 fair, I agree
7-5 nitpicky, especially for Namor since he was given side leg printing, and was based on the comics, but still respectable choices
4 omg, that actually exists
3 yeah, a total disappointment
2 yea. God awful
1 called it
I don’t know why I watched this video expecting the figures to get better.
Namor and OG hawkey and Aldridge killigan are my favorite marvel figs ever
The happy hogan fig looks more like a Martin Li fig now that I'm seeing it again
I agree happy Hogan is the worst marvel figure ever
What about the original black widow minifigure! her head piece was atrocious and her hair was wildly inaccurate.
personally i think captain america is absolutely fantastic. i love the colors of the suit and especially the skin color i think it matches pretty well with the movie.
how dare you put The Firefighter here as wevall know he is a legendary hero
Hank Pym in his gun metal grey ant man suit from the first movie is terrible since it’s inaccurate
Mini fig thanos and 2011 iron man
4+ and mighty micros have some bad figs but some are kinda goated
I knew what number 1 was gonna be, such a bad figure. We need a remake of him.
He was big in ultimate spider man I think that fig is great
Namor not deserved
Bro, your choices are so nitpicky.
Holiday special nebula 100÷ should be on the list
#1 happy hogan
@Milsey_Studios it's easily the worst Marvel figure, I just guessed before I watched because it's so awful!
I love 2012 cap
I really like the Namor figure. It’s a healthy mix between the comics and movie versions
Rank all lego marvel villains
I got Monica Rambo twice
I love the Namor fig
yeah the wasp isn't the worse fig but it is REALLY BAD
11 years already!?
Og Okoye figure and Icarus
Ben 10 minifigure Custom
Ikaris!?
I found kinda wierd that Namor was in the top just because he didn't have the mustache while 2012 Hawkeye who's a lot more Inacurate didn't even make it into the top.
Do you have any Simpson legos
Make mrbeast as lego
I think a more a great minifigure, personally. Even though he need a mustache.
Whoops😂
I hate that Lego always cheap out and just reuse prints from other characters across licensed themes. It doesn’t make the minifigs in the sets worth it. Thankfully with this year's Hogwarts banners sets, we got a new face print for Malfoy and it looks so much better than the previous one that was used for Shang Chi and the like, it is a much better likeness for Tom Felton and I hope to see it more in future Harry Potter sets.
What the f_ck MST. Look, I agree that Shuri and Namor are innacurate, but, c'mon, it's based of concept art. And same for the blue black panther, not great but not that bad to enter this list. PS. Razor fist is like any marvel minifig and Trevor Slattery would have been spoiled in your alternate scenario. I feel like he could be replaced by Pepper Potts from the infinity saga line or Wongers from the sanctum or the Red Guardian or Thor and even the Tony minifig from the $500 Hulkbuster set, I mean... WHY ARE U SOO CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I disagree with U for some of these
