    The physical therapist posture during lifting is completely opposite of what she demonstrated prior to the transfer. That is exactly how you get the injury to your lower back. If the patient is moved to the edge of the wheelchair, one leg of the person transferring needs to be between the patient legs as he is moving to the edge at all times. This prevents him from going too far forward and result in a possible fall. Fail lift/transfer!

    Very bad body mechanics ! I'm wondering how she became a PT . The way she explain gait belt and the patient safety is bad.
